Have to tip the hat to our defense tonight. They couldn't over come the short field for the first TD ,or the bogus pass interference call on Harmon, but those times they stiffened in the red zone to force field goals were admirable. After watching the replay,South Carolina was getting away with a lot of holding on our DL in the 2nd.half. Melvin Lewis was getting pulled and we had a blitz on one play where the USC O linemen just shoved our LB in the back and made him over run the QB. The defense overcame a lot of bad officiating to help pull this one out. Great win for the Cats and a salute to Eliot for having his guys step up.
