Defense ppg is #15 out of 16 in SEC

Give me this over the plow horse offense from the previous regime. It's tough to win 6 games no matter what in March but guards and scoring give you a much better chance in my eyes than grinding out possessions and relying on the big man.

Honestly, I thought we tried to play inside a little too much on Saturday when we were red hot from 3. Carr passed open a couple of looks, and so did Jackson.

Points allowed per possession or points allowed per 100 possessions would be a better metric to look at. Points allowed per game is a lazy statistic because pace of play isn’t taken into consideration. I can guarantee that Pope doesn’t look at points per game at all to help determine how well the Cats are playing defensively.
