Dear Fanbase

Vandy in 2012, I think. I was there for a half (when it was 27-0), then went home. Just a gawd awful experience.
There is, legitimately, more staff in the stadium than fans.

Wow.

That is something else.

To WhyNotBBN .. There was nothing to be embarrassed about regarding our home crowd. The crowd was cheering hard the entire game and the stadium was nearly full. The students section was full and they stayed the entire game for the second game in a row. Claiming poor showing = insulting the nearly 60K that were there.

Were you even there??

Only about 400 tickets left for EKU (!) per twitter

a sellout for a patsy 1-AA game, I'm sure the OP will be back Sun morning kissing UK fan's feet (DWS)

I was there Saturday and they were empty seats at the very top on the visitor side but I will say this the atmosphere and the crowd was electric I would rather have 50,000 people there raising Cain like they were saturday than 61000 sitting on their hands. It was one of the loudest environments I have been in at Commonwealth Stadium in a long time

With the large number of EKU alums within 50 miles of Commonwealth Stadium, and with many who root for both teams, not surprising that this game is close to a sellout, FCS "patsy" or not.

I stayed for the whole damm game. In my 32 years of watching UK football, that was definitely the lowest point. Although there might have been more fans there than the UK - Cincy game may years ago that I think we won 3 - 0. BITTER cold.....I think there were less than 5,000 fans there at kickoff.

Bottom line, we are seeing the results of the financial commitment to facilities, the strongest recruiting classes in years and a coaching staff of experienced young coaches. Our head coach is respected across the SEC.

While we are nowhere near to the program's potential, these young players are highly rated and very talented. And more and better players are coming.

We are going down the Glory Road building a competitive SEC football program. Where that road takes us no one knows. All in. Why not?
