@NextCats: UK signee De'Aaron Fox scored 50 points in an 83-63 victory tonight. He made 8 three-pointers in the first half, had 10 threes for the game.

Monk appears to me the more streaky offensive player. Plus, for either player when you can jack up a lot of shots in high school it is way different than when every shot just about counts in college. Miss one or two open outside shots and you end up on the bench. So, there is a lot more pressure and with pressure again it is a bit different. However, in the games I have seen Fox looks really good and Monk looks like he has the body necessary to do well at the next level if he is going to take the ball at the hoop.

Im curious wat backcourt is more athletic then Monk and Fox? The only one close is Wall and Bledsoe unless I am watching a different Fox and Monk?

Side note: if Hawkins or Matthews want to be the third guard next year, they need to get into the gym and shoot 500 threes/day over the summer. If either of them emerges as a 35%+ three point threat, they'll be the first guard off the bench next season. Hitting the open three and defense is all Kentucky will need from them.

With his speed & athletic ability, if he can shoot at a decent clip, he will be absolutely unstoppable.

Potential future max player. UK will have four of those types of players coming in next year. I'm not sure we've ever seen that much potential in one recruiting class while Cal has been here. Lots of folks point retroactively to the 2009 class, but few of us saw the way Bledsoe would evolve as an NBA player.
