One stupid mistake. Totally fair to lay that on him. I didn't agree with the penalty. Felt like that was softer than Charmin compared to the jawing and hand fighting going on elsewhere after plays.
Second is also fair – should've protected the ball. That said, though, that was straight up a great defensive play. Absolutely rocketed to the ball.
Don't forget that Key was the reason we were so close against UGA and won against Ole Miss. We don't win in Mississippi if not for DK. Key has been the offensive MVP this season and it's not particularly close.
He should and can play better in the second half.

1. I don’t love the person foul…but these refs are looking to throw stupid flags. Vsndy dude buts Dane helmet..Dane puts the ball on his helmet …that is the flag

He cost us 2 scores and probably ended our "successful" season. Not enough time after stepping on our own d!ck5 so many times. He's been great this season but terrible tonight.

I’ll jump in, you said he was overrated. We literally don’t have anyone better than him. So how the hell is he overrated? Without him we may not even have 3 of the 4 touchdowns we’ve scored in SEC play lmao

Yes, but damn, the dude head butted him...why was that not flagged. I mean, there was jawing and shoving after every play. At some point, you get tired of taking that crap. Of course, our guys were no angels but again, damn, a head butt? Also, the targeting no call where the defender's helmet hit our guys helmet? Multiple things can be true. Dane has improved, and has made some great plays this year.
But, he (along with Barion), continually mouth off, trash talk, taunt, and cost their teams with penalties and turnovers.
