He's currently #5 all-time. He needs 507 yards to be #2 (Keenan Burton), and 1,030 yards to break the record (Craig Yeast).

I hope he removes his name from the portal, we get him a QB that has accuracy and time to throw, and then he pushes for it next season. Being UK's all-time leading receiver would be an amazing accomplishment that he would carry for the rest of his life.

Seems like a great kid and team mate. Hometown hero however if he leaves he won’t be celebrated as such. Legacy will be a guy who bailed when he was needed.

The kid is more interested in getting developed and to go where he has a QB that can deliver the ball. Much much more important for his NFL draft to show his talent in an offense that resembles the NFL. Last time I left Kroger field, I don't think I watched an offense that would enhance his future football career. Just saying! If he stays here you know, and he knows that he will not get drafted. He may get an undrafted contract not worth the pounding an NFL receiver takes. Selflessly i want him to stay but I certainly will support and wish him success if he leaves. I certainly hope our fans will support and respect the decision he makes. Go BBN!!!

There is at least one error in that website. In the "Rushing" category, it has Raymond Sanders with 233 Att for 1078 yds and Raymond Sanders III with 107-464. Not a big deal, other than it makes the rankings all wrong. And I don't know what other errors are in there.

Found another one. It does not have Bill Leskovar at all.

Dammit ... Michael Drennen listed as Michael Drennen II and Mike Drennen. Looks like just a duplicate entry.

I hope he stays in portal If that is his motivation for returning.

Selfish stat chasing attitudes need to find a new home if Stoops is serious about changing the culture of the program.

Craig yeast was a winner and played his ass of every down. You never questioned his attitude. I hope his record is broken by someone who deserves it.

That being said had Dane played in a consistent offense with a generational QB things might have worked out for him.

For whatever reason, it only includes stats since 1956.

You're right about Sanders and Drennen. Sanders' senior year needs to be merged because the III makes him appear like a different person for that one year.
I ended up finding something like 5 more. Several were just duplicates.

I think he ends up at UGA. His girlfriend is an athlete there and I think he’d do really well there.

There is quite a bit of interest in him. But we aren't going to watch NIL that he will get from some of the other schools showing interest. But the GF is the wildcard, is he tired of a long distant GF?

I don't think he cares about his legacy, I'm hearing he's going to give Louisville a visit.
Go go louisville and destroy every record he ever had here. There’s portaling then there’s going to your hated rival. Yes there’s a difference. That would suggest he’s not good enough to play against SEC competition

Not that stats are everything, but I think it's interesting that Dane finished with more yards than UGA's leading receiver. Carson Beck also had 1000+ more passing yards than our entire team did.

UGA had some good WR transfers this season, and they didn't do much to showcase them and help improve their draft stock. They have so many mouths to feed that it would be easy to get lost in the shuffle. If he's going to go somewhere else, then he should find a place where he is THE guy. I'm not sure that UGA is his best option.

And the girlfriend thing. That could be a bigger distraction than anything, but young college types are going to be like that.

Why should he? I have no idea why any QB, receiver, or tight end would even think about coming here.

The QB play has certainly been brutal the last two seasons, but lets also not overstate Dane's receiving abilities. He's a good WR but he's not a star WR. He generates zero separation and YAC. It's not like he's running wide open across the field and we just can't get the ball to him.

GF is definitely the wildcard. Any advantage you can get. It won't be the reason, but it could be a reason he ends up there.

As someone mentioned we don't give our WR opportunities to pad their stats, but our leading receiver would have had about 1200 yards if he had good hands, he would be open deep and drop it, and 10.1 guys don't get chased down. But we rotate 7-9 guys hard to get stats.

I really think that Beck is a good QB but he forces a lot of throws. If he managed games a little better he will be very good. GL in the title game!

He can move on from my standpoint. I kept waiting for him to grow up and show some dedication, but it never happened.

Relatives that are UL fans are saying that’s what they are hearing.
Any history of pulling your chain? I'm sure our troubles and their big win taste better than the turkey did. My father-in-law would say it just trying to sport with me. Your relatives, not his, right?

Nah, we’re too old for all that. He just tells me what he hears, might not be any truth to it, but he said they seemed sure that he was at least going to visit.

UL fans hear and say a lot of dumb sh*t. It makes absolutely zero sense for him to transfer to Louisville. Maybe they will bring in Jon Gruden to be his offensive coordinator too.
Maybe be no truth to it, we’ll see. Can’t argue that he’d be in a much better offense if he did go there though. They finished 12th in the country in total offense and we finished 114th.

Thanks, we are a Jeckle-Hyde team this year, just depends on which one shows up if we have a shot.

LMFAO at the idea of any WR getting over 1000 yards receiving in a Stoops/Hamdan-led offense when the modus operandi is total ineptitude.

Glad him ‘ Brown are gone much better players out there that either don’t act a fool after making a catch or get a 15yrd penalty for something stupid every game
