D-League

Yeah today is my 4th anniversary of my 70th birthday!!!

Sir, my brother will turn 74 a week after I turn 64. Always say we are nine years and fifty-one weeks apart. I never say ten years for some reason.

An aside, my brother flew President Reagan around when he was first campaigning for his presidency. I was too young to realize how big of a deal that was... My brother was a corporate pilot for 33 or so years. He still instructs...

Folks, this is an ominous sign. When I tried to visit this site with my phone, I was logged out of my account, and when I tried to log back in I got an On3 page saying I had to register - and pay for an account -- to get back on.

For now I'm still logged into this site on my laptop and this could easily just be some glitch that I -- a real slow learner on tech stuff -- haven't figured out. But I've pretty much decided I'm not paying to stay on these boards as a matter of principle. So if I get logged out here and can't get back on -- let me say that I've enjoyed getting to know all of you. This is a quality bunch of men and to paraphrase the legendary Adolph Rupp, "We had a lot of fun. To those of you that went down the glory road with me, my eternal thanks."

I hope this is a premature and unnecessary farewell, but just in case...

If it happens just get out of the old site you have tagged and type in Catsillustrated in google or whatever you use and open it there. You can re-tagged it under the new site title. I did that on my laptop because I got the same thing you did so, I did what I typed above and it worked.

Edit: Did you get the 404 error message that said something to the effect of being deflated?

I tried that Warrior, but once again to log in it pushed me to On3, and required me to start a pay account. I'll keep trying to figure it out.

Well, as I read some of the comments, if everything goes away, thanks for the birthday wishes, but most of all I want to thank the D for accepting me into the D league a few years ago, you treated me just like an old friend that had just returned from anywhere!!! I want to thank some of the D for pushing me and giving me lots of support and prayers in the darkest time of my life when we lost JP! BERT thank you for the talks we had and the encouragement you gave, your advice was spot on, no sugar coating, told me straight!!! I know SC isn't in here, probably lurking, but thank you for the challenge you gave me on the AIR FORCE EMBLEM, you renewed my hope that I could still do my Stained-glass. BBUK, just thanks my friend!!! Now to all the VETERANS GOD BLESS EVERYONE OF YOU!! ATX you and family are always in my prayers!!!! Well the whole D league is in my prayers!!! This is not the end, it's just see you later!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

On my cell phone I too keep getting it (error message telling me to go to On3). I got the same message on my lap top this morning so, I did what I typed earlier. I was moreover letting you know how I got in today on the laptop when that happened just in case you get that tomorrow on your laptop.

It all goes back to the question I ask yesterday in reference to what it is we have to do to get on since Rowland said they were not merging. No one answered that question so... trial and error I guess.

Do it again only this time under catsillustrated go to one of the forums (Rupp Rafters, house of blue etc...) and touch on one of them. Once in, go to other forums up top not home and it should take you to the Paddocks. It just worked for me on the phone.

Hello all,

I know it's late. Reading some of your posts got me to thinking to at least say goodbye to you if that is what it comes to. I tried to start joining that other site and it came up to paying. I will not.

If this is the last time we meet as a thread and you good people. Thanks! I sincerely type this.. Doing what I do you all have kept me in some sense of normalcy. I won't go into details but I am ready to retire and spend time with My Darling, children, and Grandchildren...

I am still in decent enough shape to hopefully be able to spend some quality time with my family. Crunching the number I can do it. I wasn't ready mind-wise but My Darling and I took a small vacation recently and I realize how much I adore My Darling. I know I adore my family...

I have you down and mark you down as friends. I do not state that lightly as some of you are aware through our dealings.

God Bless you and your families... I will keep you all always in prayer..

Hopefully all will be fine tomorrow but I wanted to state that in writing one more time..

God Bless you my D-League friends...
