D-League

I posted this in the political board where I spend most of my time on this site, posting it here for you guys as well:

And that's a Winner (GO CATS!)

No more losing in the first round bullsh-t UK 76-Troy 57

Mark Pope's first NCAA tourney win box score edition:

Oweh--20 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists
Carr --13 points, 3 blocks
Brea--13 points, 4 assists
Garrison--13 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists
Chandler--9 points
Williams--13 rebounds, 4 assists (has to finish better around the rim)
Noah--A big three late in the first half that started a run.

Only 24 total fouls called in the game for both teams combined. It looks more like basketball when you don't call 50 fouls in a game like in the SEC.

Williams has to finish around the rim is an understatement. I've said it all year, the guy can't hit a shot outside of 2 feet.

@BBUK

Not sure why but all of a sudden any video you post just shows up as blank for me, I can see what you write but all your videos are just a big white blank space. I can see everything on the page but your videos.

Oh, I "blanked" you... 😁

Nah, not sure why, They are mostly facebook short news (Facebook reels actually, just looked.) items but I go back and see them. May have to have a facebook account but I am not sure about that. Thanks though for letting me know. Ha, no wonder not many like them..ha ha...

Good morning everyone.

I've been awake since 3AM...ughh. But, that's what happens to me when I sleep very good the night before.

Good game. I didn't get to watch as closely as normal since there was a crowd. I mentioned to some before the game that I have never seen a college team miss as many dunks/layups as we have the last 2 years. Made me look like I knew what I was talking about. Nice win and now one more will make a world of difference for this team and Pope.

Doc visits this week and next are mostly normal stuff. Both of us went to the dermatologist and I ended up with about 15 "spots" frozen on my back. That's pretty normal. Wifey has her every 5 year colonoscopy next week. She struggles with the prep stuff. She also got a stick in the eye while we were driving the SxS on our hunting lease. Autumn Olives shrubs are the devil's spawn. She is alright, but it did hurt her pretty good. She didn't even want to go home and get changed from her old work clothes before going to the Doc. I knew she was in pain when she told me that.

I hope everyone has a good day. I don't get tore up about our ex's, but St. Johns vs Arkansas will be interesting.

Good morning folks.

Good win for the Cats. If gets a lot harder now, but maybe the team will play looser Sunday. Illinois has been great when the 3s fall, and beatable when they don’t. Wish Kentucky had a better defensive profile, but the Cats have been a little better there.

It’s crazy that the Top 19 teams in KenPom rankings have advanced. It’s going to be e a wild weekend of tough games.

Unlike some, I clearly pulled for Kansas to lose to Arkansas. Cats have now picked up two games this year in the all time wins standings, which is remarkable over the preseason #1 with a team thrown together Kate, and plating a brutal schedule.

Enjoy the day.

Yes, gaining a game in the all time wins column is much greater than worrying about Cal. Kansas, N. Carolina, Louisville & IN are no longer a threat this year. Duke, UConn, and UCLA are the only "Blue Bloods" left.

Morning D-Leaguers! (Drill Sergeant would not post this morning, must be tired).

47° this morning with moderate winds. High to be in the low 70's. First grass cut of the year today coming up after workout and monster walk.

No Asian market stop yesterday in OKC because wife saw the Chef Store from the restaurant where we were eating. Never heard of it but apparently, she had and always wanted to go. Anyone else ever heard of it? Since it was our first time, time was spent there. You know what I mean?

Still, got to spend as much time as I wanted/needed at Bass Pro so, no harm no foul.

About the game, agree with the point about needing to finish around the basket better for Williams and those missed lay ups, Butler is notorious for those. About Illinois 3-point shooting, if we are on with our 3-point shooting, I like our chances.

8-5 with one to go ain't all bad.
8-6. 3 of the loses were the 8-9 match-ups against UConn, Baylor and Gonzaga. Statement games if you will. SEMI-disappointing but not a bad showing. Could have been better BUT could have been worse. Sorry, stating the obvious. Also, the SEC out of conference was a staggering 89% before the tourney.

Good morning all,

Today and tomorrow, I am working. My Darling has her first eye surgery later this week. I am trying to de-dust our home by rubbing down all ceiling and walls. Will clean the fixtures too. Already started earlier this morning. Includes washing drapes.

Will try vacuuming today as well but if not will vacuum and clean all carpets tomorrow.... Cleaning the top of the cabinets too.

I need the exercise but probably should have hired someone to help.

Have a blessed day. I am thankful....

Good morning from ATX. Currently 54°F and clear. Today's high expected around 84°F.

Good outing last night by our Cats. Williams missed many easy shots under the basket or score could have been even larger. Look forward to watching Arkansas/St. Johns later today.

Wishing y'all another awesome Saturday.

Checked my phone. Not going to turn my computer on or no house work.... "Mans GOT to know his limitations "

Enjoy...

Nah. I'll give you the loss to Baylor, but Yukon & Zags were #2 & #3 in their conferences vs. GA & OK being #11 & #13 in ours. I'll hazard none of the three would have finished in top half of SEC. I expect SEC to go 6-2 this weekend. But do see bettors favoring IL over us by 1.5.

Is today's game at 4:15 central?

Says 5:15 ET Sir so it sounds about right. Get it done Cats. You can do it, just do it......

Hello all, cleaning, cleaning. The BB is still sleeping. Him and his cousin had a blast last night till late at Papa's work getting done expense.... In my best John Wayne in Rooster Cogburn voice...."Weellll...."....

I'm a little nervous about the game today but also have a good feeling at the same time. I hate losing to lower seeded teams. Since 2010 (including the 2013 NIT) 8 of the 12 losses have been to lower seeded teams. Granted, a few of those years UK was the #1 seed but still...I really hope #9 doesn't happen tonight.

Go Cats!!

Good morning folks. It is a beautiful Sunday in the east.

I went for a long run this morning and then to church. Now getting ready for a joint Birthday Luncheon for my daughter (March 21) and my wife (March 26) at our favorite steakhouse. Should be a great meal and a fun time.

Big opportunity for the Cats tonight. They'll have to play much better than Friday. I'm nervous.

Hope you all have a great Sunday and Go Big Blue.
