Crystal Ball: UK is new leader for Marques Bolden

It's called a message board. People post their opinion here. But you're probably right. Skal is not a miss, and nobody should ever question Cal. You win.
My my, are your panties in a wad today or what? I didn't even mention Skal. Of course he's a miss. It just seems kinda retarded to make a sarcastic response to someone about his post and then make a post that says nearly the same thing he did.
I'm a HUGE proponent of Cal's ability to bring in top recruits and weave them into a cohesive team, playing less than deserved minutes along the way. I don't think any other coach can do this as well has Cal has repeatedly done in his time at UK.

So you're a huge proponent of Cal's recruiting. Great. Yet you feel the need to be an ass when someone else says "I don't know why anyone would question Cal's recruiting". I guess some people just get off on being a jerk behind the anonymity of the Internet.

It's ok to question Cal. Hell even he questions himself all the time .

The part that isn't right is that many with their own agendas try to hide behind "questioning" cal but really they are wanting you to believe UK is destined to always fail because of Cal

I know, right, Cawood?

Cal's NEVER been wrong on a recruit, right?

Sincerely,
Skal.
Really? Wow. I could list a bunch of names but I ain't wasting my time. Year after year UK fans bemoaned recruiting g under Tubby and other coaches and we finally have a coach that has literally owned recruiting since he stepped on campus.
Every top recruit in the country wants to hear from UK.

I for one, hope we land this guy. If he comes in, and Ullis comes back, it's a title next year.

Tyler is the only Cat that could feasibly leave that I want back. He's a leader and he's consistently he hardest worker on the court. We need his influence.

I don't know if we would have room, but if Skal were to return as well he could also vastly improve by practicing against tough bigs everyday in Bam and Bolden. Add that to an off season of weight training and he might reach the potential that all the scouts, and Cal, saw in him. That, or he rides the bench, which could also motivate to step up his game or transfer.

Andrew Slater with 247 reporting that Duke visiting Bolden in TX today they're coming in "hot pursuit" -- awesome..

I see more Randolph Morris than Dakari. I'd love to add either type of player anyway. If you look at next year's loaded roster, the only thing missing is a true back-to-the-basket scorer (and possibly outside shooting).

My only hesitation is Calipari going big again next year with lineups, when I think you have to go small these days.

Duke proved your point last year but they did have the top rated center in the country who produced big for them. Without him they are us this year. Gotta have depth with the bigs and they all need to bring different things to the table.

Not sure what your opinion of miss is but if its comparing him to Alex it would be a bad comparison. If Skal stays as long as Alex did, Skal would be a lottery pick with added weight and experience.

That agenda died 4 yrs ago.

Bolden may be the best low post scorer in his class, I don't know one way or the other. But Okafor was the best low post scoring freshman Center I can recall. He had other deficiencies, but posting up and scoring inside were not one of those. I don't think Bolden is in Okafor's league in that area, although he certainly might be better in other areas (e.g., blocking shots, running the floor, etc.). Would love to have him, but not going to put unreasonable expectations on him. He wouldn't have to be Okafor to be a nice piece of the team puzzle next season.
I'd take Cousins over Okafor as "best low post scoring Center," but I'm biased.

Okafor is the most powerful man alive. He bended the rules of space time and basketball where the words charge and offensive foul did not exist within a 7 ft bubble parameter of him at all times
