CRod back for Ole Miss

Wish it was the week before to knock some rust off, but I expect him to come out ready to knock some heads off!
Having a healthy CROD week five is huge! We all know this isn’t what we wanted, but winning in the swamp without him put to bed any concerns. We just can’t overlook these next two weeks, and stay focused
Not worried about next week so much, but App St., Marshall and Georgia Southern all beating P5 teams this week should serve notice that anything can happen if you take your eyes off the road for a second. Northern Illinois isn't typically a slouch by any means.
At least CRod's been practicing with the team so he should be good to go from the minute he's eligible.

Good news, would have liked to get him back for one these next two upcoming games to get used to things, but this is good news

Hell Friggin’ Yeah! Should be an immediate impact - not only for Ole Miss but for the whole back half of the season.
The only positive of this whole situation is that CRod will have four less games of wear and tear and hopefully fresher legs in the SEC Championship game (yep I said it).

Northern Illinois just lost to Tulsa on the road. They play home to Vandy this week, so we'll get a chance to see how they look against a lower SEC opponent.
I do wish we had CRod against these next two opponents to get his "game legs" back. But we'll have to manage without him, and hopefully the game reps for Smoke/Wright will pay off later in the season.
Given what happened to Jefferson, it's more than only + to me.
Glad to be getting him back. That will make this offense that much more dangerous.
With Jefferson and McClain out, does anyone know the status of Drennan? Is he still at RB or are they moving him to WR, just wondering why he hasn’t seen the field yet.

Perfect timing. There will be no tape on how he performs in the new offense. Ole Miss get the first look.
Somehow Wright out one game & CRod out 4 was discussed even before start of season. IOW, this was a known that leaked.
One more positive is we will have developed some salty RBs who should be 4-0 and with high confidence to complement C-Rod in the backfield.

Behind last years line I might say he has a shot. It's cerainly doable, but I think this line is too young and inexperienced for him to meet that milestone. If he had a full season, I would have said he gets it no question.
Yep, with no missed games, he breaks it easily. Unless we make the CFB championship, I don’t see it happening.

Thank God. This is a HUGE game. We haven't beat an SEC West team on the road in over 10 years. Will be much tougher than many think
Glad that he will be fresh for the stretch run.
