I've had some good talks with my colleagues about this just wondering others input.
LaFamilia roster in all their primes could they win a national title? Let's say Pope is the head coach with current staff and this is his roster.

Sr
G- Grady 6-5 205
G- Canada 6-6 198
F- Sestina 6-9 234
F- K.Kanter 6-10 245
Jr
C- Willie Cauley-Stein 7-0 240
So
G- Aa Harrison 6-6 212
G- An Harrison 6-6 210
Fr
G- Eric Bledsoe 6-1 190
G- James Young 6-6 215
C- Daniel Orton 6-11 255

Starters/Bench
G- Bledsoe/An Harrison
G- An Harrison/Grady
G- Aa Harrison/Young
F- Sestina/K.Kanter
C- WCS/Orton

I argue that team could cut the nets down in April. My co-workers say it's a very flawed team but are UL fans.

Could they make a run if they got hot? Yes. Would they be favorites? I’m not so sure. That looks like a team that might struggle to score in stretches because the guards are pretty inconsistent, and the bigs that we actually got to see play were mostly defensive specialists. Kanter would be the wild card since we never got to see him play at the college level. If you assume he’s a dominant go to guy in the post, then it raises the ceiling quite a bit. I’m personally not sure he wouldn’t have had some growing pains as a freshman, so he doesn’t change my assessment much.

Considering that team has the same general makeup and many of the specific players from the 2015 team that nearly finished 40-0, yet has even more firepower, your coworkers are trolling or too stupid to walk and chew gum. That team can obviously win a NC

Bledsoe/Aaron Harrison/Young/WCS/Orton in their prime? With Sestina/An. Harrison/Grady coming off the bench?

It might not be the team comp Pope would look for, but that talent level with his coaching absolutely is a threat to win the title. They'd be #1. Prime Eric Bledsoe averaged 20p/4r/6a/2s/1b in the NBA. He'd be the PotY and would just destroy college guards. That team would have four first round picks in their prime WITH Pope coaching.

Handing that talent level to Pope seems frankly unfair to the rest of college basketball.

Could, but unlikely. Getting past round one will be a first for Pope, so he has to learn those ropes as well. It's really hard to say this far out. We have a meat grinder conference PLUS an SEC tourney to go. I'm hoping for weekend number two....which has been (will be) five years gone.

That would really be nice to start. Then we get gravy. Hopefully LOTS of gravy.

No doubt they could. Solid outside shooting with Sestina, Harrison, Young, Grady, and Bledsoe. A big team that can guard really well. Bledsoe in his prime would be phenomenal in college. Harrison’s, Young, and WCS already proved they could get to a championship game and should have been to another. That Kanter dude looked really good on those games. I bet in his prime he would be a great depth piece at worst,

That is totally a team that could win the NCAA T and i showed it to my co-workers and they said the stats would be totally skewed with different players playing together and we would be lucky to reach the E8 with luck and refs on our side. Said we had 5 small forwards and 4 power forwards. Anyway sorry for the block of numbers.

They would have to have really hot shooting 6 games in a row which is very unlikely. Still say Sweet 16 is their ceiling. Just not a very good defensive team.
