What’s he doing now, besides hitting the weight room? I’ve seen pictures and story’s with Levi’s etc. He is the greatest QB in my lifetime that I can remember. Why doesn’t Stoops add him as the QB Coach?

Had this thought myself, but TC is now set for life and I doubt he wants the hassle . If he could just be qb Coach it'd be great

As much of a beating he took in Cleveland he probably wants to try to stay away from football as much as he can these days!

So because Liam is OC you wouldn’t want Couch as QB Coach? Your a dumb azz. Get Couch on board if interested.
OC is typically the QB coach in CFB. Directly coaching the trigger man of your unit, to teach how to operate it. Coen has demonstrated elite QB coaching in CFB & NFL.

Why not he probably needs $ like everyone else does!!!!
When at Cleveland, it was said he was living off endorsement money, only, and banking all of his football money . . . which was many millions of dollars.

I have no idea if he needs money, but he did some TV a few years, ago, and ended up dropping that. He could be in about any booth he wanted, but doesn’t seem to need the work.

I love TC but when I think about his career I have so many mixed emotions. I was super excited to have a first pick in he NFL for what it meant for the university. However Cleveland was a horrible team to play for. No offensI’ve line and they wouldn’t turn loose the money to build team around him. Can’t help but wonder what if he played for decent franchise if his career would of been longer.

So, a guy who hasn't coached, EVER and has been out of football for almost two decades should be the QB coach? Why? What makes him a great QB coach? Did he have a great QB coach at KY, or Cleveland? Do you really think HS players who were born after he played even know who he is? Why not see what Ryan Leaf is up to and has interest, at least he has coached?

You may not remember, Couch’s first K was 58 million. He also had endorsement money.

Assistant Coaches on this level are paid very well, six-figures. But they live a stressed and sh!tty life, catching up on sleep during long flights whilst recruiting.

I would love to see Couch, Wesley Woodyard and Jacob Tamme on staff, but given their likely wealth, do they want 70/80 hour work weeks?

Not likely.

No one is really questioning Couch’s ability to Coach, but drop 40 million in my lap, and you won’t see me in a Court Room, again!!

The greats just can't relate well to coach other normal humans who lack their natural gifts and drive. Ain't a lot of Heisman winners coaching, or hall of famers, or guys in any major sport who made tens of millions playing. I guess Larry Bird is kind of an exception, he didn't coach long thought. We will all watch & see how Prime Time does in D1 CFB.

Great coached usually were backups who rarely played.

May just not want to sour his UK legendary status if things were to go wrong for whatever staff he was part of. Can’t blame him for that if so.

Been hitting that weight room so hard he'll be dead in his fifties if he don't watch out. Taking HGH makes all your muscles bigger including your heart which is a muscle. Might be time to stop
