when i was a kid we had milk and cornbread pretty regularly. i never liked white (sweet milk) but have always liked buttermilk. i always use whole buttermilk to make cornbread batter.
I used to think this sounded disgusting.Once it cools, take a piece of cornbread and crumble it up in a big glass of cold milk. Eat it with a spoon. Heaven!
