77 year old out of touch guys aren't asking questions like I asked, 77 year old out of touch people think everything is fine because they played some tough teams. Vanderbilt is not in the ACC or BIG10, the SEC is looked at as a really weak conference, which it is this year.

I was referring to Dickie V btw. He has no clue of what he's talking about as it's not 1994 anymore. I like him and enjoy his energy, but he just doesn't keep up with what it takes to make the tourney anymore.
Quite frankly, very few people have a clue of what they are talking about in terms of the last few teams in because it's so different than what it used to be. Basically, you have 4-5 teams who used to be NIT teams getting in the NCAA Tournament.
To get in the way it used to be, we would need to be 20-11 all day, now 18-13 has a shot (not where I want to be, but not completely dead either).
and win or lose in the opera house, vandy is still not going to the tournament. so i guess the uk game is the whole season. a two game season. the best you can get is a tie, unless we meet in the sect for another uk home game. either way we'll be moving on afterwards and vandy won't. because if they did they'd lose in the first round of the ncaa's.
we thank vandy for missing the tournament so their losses don't blow up their region and embarrass the sec. i can't say you guys don't have class. and we thank you for these little challenges in nashville (53-29 in that city all-time against vandy including sect).

Vandy has twice as many losses as UK against a slightly better SOS.
Vandy was missing Kornett for a stretch, but UK has had to deal with injuries as well. Ulis was injured for a stretch where UK struggled. Hawkins, a key reserve, has missed several games. Lee went down in the UCLA game, which we lost on the road.
Right now, based on every measure that you can find, UK is the superior team.
This guy needs to take off his gold tinted goggles if he thinks the only reason Vandy lost is because we played great and they played lousy and it was in Rupp.
If UK loses in Nashville, it will not change that.
He should take his own advice then and not look at one game. But he won't, he'll use that as a measuring stick and say, "see I told ya'll we are better." LOL!

I don't understand why opposing fans do this. Regardless of your intentions, you're by and large not gonna receive a warm response. By the same token, why do some of our fans go to UL's site? This is a genuine question.

For me:
-I am a huge college hoops fan and there are a ton of college hoops fans here.
-I grew up going to Lexington every Thanksgiving, a large part of my family is made up of UK grads/fans.
-Entertainment (isn't this the reason most people read and post on message boards?).
I don't mind the few guys that don't know how to interact with others because there are several who just like talking hoops and checking on different perspectives. The good UK fans make it worth dealing with the knuckle draggers.

Couple things:
Not a "big" win in that Vandy has underachieved all year. Would have been big for them.
UK played great 3 point D but admittedly the Dores missed some when they were left wide open

Ironically, I really meant "big win" as in arse whoopin' not as in winning a hugely important game. I just let those that wanted to parse words run with it because there really is no convincing those types of people (as we all know).

KY's defense made Vandy play their worst game of the YEAR! Why else would Vandy play their worst game if it wasn't for the defense that KY played?
Vandy had lost 7 games before Saturday so I would say they have played bad 8 times now! We saw how bad of a team Vandy is away from their home but wait until KY goes to their gym and they will look like an All Star team that should be ranked #1
