I was very impressed with the Wildcats yesterday. That was the best shooting performance I've seen all year by the Cats or anybody else (mainly inside the arc). Ulis and Murray were unstoppable.

As for us, we obviously played our worst game of the year. We missed layups, open looks from 3, short jumpers, but worst of all, just displayed a total lack of heart. The good thing about basketball is that that one game is just that...

Moving on.

As I've said, if Stallings can't get this group to the NCAA Tourney, he needs to be fired. Hopefully, we'll get our act together though.

Cal is very impressive and as I've told a few of my UK buddies, don't sleep on this team. Ulis and Murray are really good and if they play well on the same day, the Cats are extremely dangerous.

Thanks for proving my point for some of these people. Ive watch all 19 games this year and that was most definitely the worst we played all year.

I agree. Cal knew that the only way they beat us, in Rupp, is to make a bunch of threes, and we defended it well. That was why he played Skal, sparingly. Because he was giving up open shots. If he can't play inside, and must face the basket, then he is going to have to be able to guard people who can shoot from the outside.

1) I know a great deal about basketball, not sure why you say I don't.

2) Booker has phenomenal stats, he's an amazing shooter. The fact that LaChance shut him down doesn't change the fact that Booker is a really really good player.

Serious question though:

Would you take LaChance for 4 years over Booker for 1? I would take Booker over LaChance if I could only have one of those and only for one year, but if the choice was Booker for 1 or LaChance for 4, I would have to take the sniper from the Cheese State.

It wasn't a big win but just a win , Vandy is a middling team . If it were one of the sec leaders like TA&M or another ranked and prominent team like Kansas , then it would be considered a big win . I knew we would beat Vandy at Rupp as we historically have , it's no different than beating Alabama . It will be a bigger (although still not big) if UK wins at Vanderbilt because UK only has 42 wins to 26 losses at Vanderbitls memorial gymnasium .

I'll agree with your point about posters getting their panties in a wad often. That said show me where this vandy chump has made any intelligent posts.

Saying that Vandy played their worst game of the year is certainly open to debate, yet freida is acting as if it is a guaranteed fact, and that is the main reason they lost.

Vandy shot their worst FG% of the season against UK, that's where the "worst" stats end.

They had the same or more turnovers in 11 other games (25 against Arky, 17 against baylor, 17 against lsu, all losses - 11 against UK)
They had less total rebounds in 8 other games (5 of them losses)
They had a worse FT% in EVERY GAME THIS YEAR EXCEPT ONE
They had a worse 3 pt % in 4 games
They had same or less number of steals in 7 games
