Concerned About Running Game

It really looks like the goal is for the Oline to create a standstill with the dline and its up to the back to find/select a gap.
 
We now run wide zone. That means the OL move laterally. The rb pushes the edge and chooses his hole, which includes, any cut back he sees.

We don't fire off the ball. We aren't creating holes. This isn't man/gap scheme. It isn't even inside zone.

It's so effective on offense because the OL movement literally looks the same no matter if run or play action pass. Being lateral, they're never down field on PA so the defense have no keys on run/pass.
