Commitment Breakdown: Four-star RB Jamarion Wilcox heading to Kentucky

@The-Hack @Greezy Kreek - When do you men sleep?
In the words of a 3 man team of wise prophets
“ no sleep till BROOKLYN” & I’d never go there. But I find a great two hour nap is perfectly suited for basketball games these days. 😁

As for the Hack , maybe he might wanna try them cornbread hemp gummies Jimmy Higdon is promoting. Johnny Boone can find something a tad more effective that would likely give an elephant sweet slumber. 😵‍💫

Ha! I get the feeling you may need Hack to show up one day, like Lester Burns, to defend you!

Grisham can use story for great book and eventual movie. In the book, Hack can sneak you out for a few hours on Sat in late Nov to watch undefeated UK -vs-undefeated UT at Kroger field. Winner goes to Atlanta!

What actors play each of your roles?

I could envision a thespian such as Gene Hackman as Rankin Fitch in the ‘Rainmaker “or lead counsel Arron Eckhart in { thank you for smoking} to play the Honorable Hack or possibly that guy that plays John Dutton as my own F. Lee Bailey or Gerry Spence. …….. Hack would say, “ as you can see here the burlap sack was tossed back and to the left…..back and to the left”………… Or you want Greezy Kreek on that wall , YOU NEED GREEZY KREEK ON THAT WALL!!!!” and bring Jack outta retirement.

& for my role I’d say either Flava Flave or Jerry Weinstein’s pal Matt Damon, or maybe a fellow Kentuckian Boyd Holbrook playing a guy who’s family produced their white lightning and bourbon & rye spirits for Al Capone, and him and the younger family members we’re being guided into more natural local product required for the modern day 80’s and 90’s customer base. Thus demanding a friend of the families legal services………. and we then see the expertise of our very own counsel the Hack enter the scene ………
or maybe something like that.

This is great!

How does the game end? (Blowout or a Stevie gets loose play to end the game?)

How do you and Hack celebrate the game before he takes you back to crossbar hotel?

The Hack a double Woodford Reserve neat……coffee black next morning.

For myself, a nice cold, freshly roofied Yoo-hoo and a Mike Tyson gummy ear 👂.

& It ends with a half uhh hunnerd hung on the all mighty undefeated Villanova football team in the playoffs 1st game ( it was them or a 1 loss Bama squad & Nova was undefeated so , easy decision) Then a Stevie got loose moment like Tua in the new Mercedes dome, to Dane Key. We’ll call it ~ “ The night the lights went out in Georgia “……… if of course that name is not taken or anything 🤘😁!

This will be like a Robert Bailey book. (Good books, but read them in order.) But, instead of Bear Bryant Alabama football, and lawyers. This story will include Stoops (we’ll call stoops the “Red Bear.” It fits him like bark on a tree and he deserves a nickname.) Your character or Hack’s will need to be a former UK player. Former All American will make for better back story. You and Hack can decide which character has the glory and is beloved by the entire state.

LOI was in hand before the signing period.
His “signing” the other day was just for a ceremony. KY had his letter just let the kid have his moment.
Thanks. I didn’t know how it worked, and did not know players could not sign in mid-January. But I knew sources were calling it a “signing . . . . “

I guess this is what players do who “commit” at AA games in January.

Just going off memory without looking it up... UK has had more success with GA rb's than any other state. We've had hits and misses everywhere but I can't remember any misses we've had at rb in the state of Georgia. Boom, Rodriguez, Mo... I know we've had a couple small backs that were kinda tweeners that didn't pan out but when we get a solid sized and speedy rb from GA... We are usually good.

Sounds like planting and cutting ability is one thing that sets him apart. Says he has 4.6 speed, so he could be a combination of speed and quickness. Never know till they hit the field against SEC teams.

Great pickup. I think Braylon Heard was higher but he was a transfer.
Good catch.

Braylon Heard, 57th ranked player, 2010, committed to Nebraska.

Stanley “Boom” Williams, 118th ranked player, 2014 to UK.

Jamarion Wilcox, 146th ranked player, 2023 to UK.

Mickel Horton, 150th ranked player, 2014 to UK.

Pretty strong company!

It feels kind of odd not looking Crod and Bennie Snell up. But neither were 4 Stars.

Georgia practically grows them on trees

His video shows a run with, maybe 4 or 5 cuts in an area of, maybe, 4 phone booths.
His vision, decisiveness, cutting and balance are just murder. He's as talented as any UGA back, but for maybe 1/10th second on his 40, perhaps more on the 100, given his length of stride. Still, a very talented RB.

I just watched his 11 minute Senior highlight film.

I might get slaughtered for saying it, but this player reminds me of Barry Sanders. He might have Benny Snell’s speed, like 4.55 or 4.6, but he breaks opponents ankles on every run, and then punishes tacklers.

He also has that strange ability to roll over his tackler to get the ball extended for TD’s/first downs.

He usually was running between the tackles, and was always the hammer instead of the nail when tackled.

I was actually thinking the same thing, Barry Sanders, a little Walter (sweetness) Payton. Seems to have good hands and good speed but not the elite speed of Boom. Seems to run bigger than his size which means good leg drive, he has the entire arsenal.
