We lost the first four games he called, oke in double OT, one in OT, and one by 3 points. Meaning he could control the outcome of all of them.http://www.bigbluehistory.net/bb/statistics/Officials/Brian_Dorsey.html I think we’re going to win, thankfully, but up to now we’ve only won 30% with Dorsey officiating.
I agree on that one series, no call when Carr shot then they call a phantom foul on Garrison.Call it both ways!!!!!!

Most of the game they just refused to call fouls at all, so at least that is “fair” assuming both teams are playing relatively clean. That was the one series that I thought no way it was being called even.
Overall, I thought the game was called fairly well. However, that stretch in the second half where ILL was getting a foul call EVERY time they attacked the lane all while UK was dominating with points in the paint without drawing a foul on ILL was not good.
Compared to some SEC games, I can't can't complain. Now Hurly is doing all kinds of crying and I guess I watched a different game than him????That was the one series that I thought no way it was being called even.

Kind of weird they keep scheduling him for us in these critical games. Hope he’s sad somewhere tonight. We lost the first four games he called, oke in double OT, one in OT, and one by 3 points. Meaning he could control the outcome of all of them.
Guarantee he is on the take.
He called the Elite 8 games against Auburn. He called the Oakland game. He called us losing at home against UNC Wilmington, so it isn’t just a factor of “he calls bit games against good teams.”
That first half I thought was pretty well officiated but in the 2nd half it got silly once we stretched the lead to 15. They were allowing Illinois to beat up on us in the paint and we couldn’t breath on them in the paint
The whole tournament has been pretty well officiated. Less fouls called, therefore the games flow much better and move faster. I’ve said many times, the game isn’t too physical but rather the refs call too many fouls and disrupt the flow of the game. The uber physical sec teams are adapting just fine to the tournament whistle.Yeah, I agree with that rough stretch in the 2nd half.
I guess I've just so disgusted with SEC officiating this year that this game was a breath of fresh air by comparison.
