I knew the first time Colorado played a team with defense that they will be exposed.
What he has done with Colorado in less than a year has made them relevant in the nation's eyes, regardless of record.I don’t dislike Primetime
But I’m glad hey are getting humble pied big time. The “no difference between the FCS and FBS…just scared of names” was nonsense. Colorado is a solid team that would win 5-7 games in the SEC including their 3 cupcakes
Because he most likely wouldn’t do that except against VandyNix 22/24 for 217 yds, 3 TDs in first half. Still not sure why he left Auburn.
Absolutely agree. And NeonDeon isn’t dumb…I think he knew good and well that joining the PAC 12 combined with using the social media hype to dominate the transfer portal was the most guaranteed path to success at a major P5 instead of taking a job east of the MississippiWhat he has done with Colorado in less than a year has made them relevant in the nation's eyes, regardless of record.
I'm with ya, though. Maybe 5-7 games in the SEC with the bottom feeders, but I think he makes more noise in what won't be the PAC-12 much longer.

Coach Lanning said it best.I don’t dislike deion either and I’ll give credit where it’s due. He’s a marketing genius and if I was a colorado fan I’d be loving it.
It’s been too much though, just everywhere and the obsessive overreaction and hype is exhausting.
Which I think is the beef with most ppl. What other school have you seen plastered all over the place bc a coach took a bottom feeder and made them mediocre? None of course. And he's had endless help with free advertising and recruiting. He farts and its a 60 minutes special report. What he has done with Colorado in less than a year has made them relevant in the nation's eyes, regardless of record.

Not that I dislike Sanders but I enjoy it when arrogant people get humbled, waiting to see how ESPN spins this thumping.
Good take! He is the “Penny” of football I think. Never thought about it but wow.. the similarities.I have nothing against him personally but I respect a guy more that lets his actions speak for him and today he failed miserably. I hope the experiment of promoting a mediocre team is over and he fades as fast as Penny Hardaway did.
I’d love to see if he is a great coach without the media special treatment.
I'd take him in a heartbeat. While true, Oregon's coach appears to be a massively unlikable jackass.
Seriously? Damn...Prime didn't know the name of his starting center. That's pitiful, especially for someone who says he is committed to kids. Hell, the kid was snapping the ball to his own son and Prime wasn't invested enough into his team to know the center's name. Very, very weak ...
Yes. There are a number of YouTube videos regarding this lack of knowing his players' names, just Google to view them, but here's one ...Seriously? Damn...
Don’t be surprised by this. Look past the hype! Complete BS. Check out Jason Whitlock.Seriously? Damn...

I’m completely sick of the media hype and his own bloviating.I have nothing against him personally but I respect a guy more that lets his actions speak for him and today he failed miserably. I hope the experiment of promoting a mediocre team is over and he fades as fast as Penny Hardaway did.

It was all five yard passes….dude is a back end sec Qb playing in a no d conferenceNix 22/24 for 217 yds, 3 TDs in first half. Still not sure why he left Auburn.
He appears to be a grown up and ignores the foolish hype. While true, Oregon's coach appears to be a massively unlikable jackass.
No doubt, people forget how pathetic that roster was. He has like 50 something new players too.Absolutely agree. I don’t know what that means but I agree.I’m completely sick of the media hype and his own bloviating.
He’s not a journeyman. He’s in the same mold of most of the big time coordinators who worked their way up, became a top coordinator at a top program and then their first HC gig was a big time program. He got the Oregon job at 36. That’s pretty damn impressive.Oregon's coach is an ass. He's so jealous of Deion, it was oozing out of his pores. He couldn't even hide it. I checked his resume and he's been a journeyman. He's probably been at 6 different schools coaching. Let's face it, a lot of coaches hate on Prime cause he jumped to P5 so quickly. And he's sucking up all the oxygen cause his brilliance in marketing. The worst part is that they know he will be a terror in the portal next season and it's eating them up.
Lanning knows he doesn't want to face a recruit (especially an African-American) in their living room after Deion was there. He can bash flash and Hollywood all they want, but Colorado appeals to young urban kids for obvious reasons. Deion knows how to talk to their families and to the kids themselves in their language.
And besides, who is more flashy than Oregon with all their avant garde uniform changes every game? Gimme a break. He's a hypocrite.

AgreeHate him or love him Prime has drawn more casual attention to CFB than anyone in years. Oregon could have scored 60 if they wanted. Southern Cal can name their score this Saturday. Will be interesting how the Buffs responds after that.
