First they add Jay Williams and then they add this lady that is desperately trying to prove herself with every statement. They just spent 15 minutes debating Hurley’s ridiculous take on him being “picked on” because he’s on camera so much. So they wasted 25% of the show on the most arrogant person in the game, talking about how he wants to be on camera LESS, instead of actually talking about basketball games.

First time watching GameDay eh?

Same thing happens on the football version. To be fair, they have to fill 3 ridiculous hours with content while bball is just 1.
No, I’ve been watching it since it started, just had not watched it much the last year or two. Honestly I don’t watch the football version since there is an SEC Now version which I like a ton more.

Had it on in the background. Seems like they strategically avoided any mention of UK. SG did make sure to say that 3 SEC teams could make the FF - Auburn, Bama, Florida.

Soft troll, while reinforcing the DD “irrelevant” narrative. I really do not like ESPN.

I just don't watch it, outside of the actual games, I avoid ESPN

Truth be told, aside from UK games and a few other matchups I'll look to catch/keep on in the background... I try to tune this sport out until March. I dont need to see awful and biased analysts on top of foul fests in January and February.

This sport has lost a lot of its appeal to me. It's really just Kentucky and the ever-fun March Madness that keeps me around.

If they did, would it matter? Why would it? The fact that ESPN has royally sucked for years has nothing to do with that.

I am stating they don't do that. It's a one sided thing they do. And yes, espn sucks and this sort of thing is one of the minor reasons it does.

We all know why Carter is being included on the men's GameDay.

The chick needs to stay in her lane. Disingenuous for her to complain about male coaches when she damn sure wouldn’t do it to Mulkey or Staley doing the same thing and violate the ESPN mandate to cram women’s sports down our throats.

Case in point. Yall see the OU/LSU fracas and how Mulkey acted? Not a single mention on the main page of ESPN and only a small link inside the WBB page.

Mulkey showing her ass

Other than the actual.games, I don't watch any ESPN for anything anymore and there was a time where I had it it on half the day. I have no idea who does Sportscenter anymore.
Shows like SportsCenter, MLB tonight, etc....all of those have pretty much gone by the wayside because of instant access on your phone, computer, etc. I get the highlights and stories I like to watch on social media. I'm sure most people are like that. I used to make sure I was in front of the TV at 11:00pm if I didn't have school the next day. Hell, I'd listen to Van Earl Wright at 19 and 49 minutes past the hour to get score updates on CNN.

Just a different time.

Van Earl was a good one.

If they were smart at these networks they would realize that it's what people want. It isn't really a different time, it's a different climate that people have been, and continue to be completely done with IMO.

So true.

I don’t bother unless I am bored. You can get on YouTube or whatever and find better analysis than you can on any network.

I like the dudes on Southeastern 16. They are kind of goobers, which is part of their charm, but at least they talk ball instead of politics and social issues.
