I haven't watched that much (forget it is on FS1 and hell I forget that channel exists most of the time anyways), but you make a good point. It is almost like he is on his high throne looking down at the mere mortals he allows as guests in studio. His assistant/eye candy update girl is pretty nice to look at though.

How these guys keep getting shows on channels like ESPN i'll never figure out. It's like they go out and find and hire the most annoying people they can find and give them their own show. I won't watch this show or any other show on ESPN unless Kentucky is playing. What a joke!

The other day he said that Alabama was only riding the coattails of "SEC bias" and that he would vote for 1 loss Ohio State that has looked far from impressive with a cream puff schedule to be in the college football playoff over them.

I remember we had some of our very own fans on here that defended this idiot during his period of irrational hate against John Wall (because Wall couldn't make the playoffs in his first few seasons in the NBA, yet Saint Kyrie of Duke also couldn't make the playoffs in the same amount of time without LeBron and it was nothing for praise for him and his stats), but his college football playoff take should expose him for the dumbass that he truly is even to his fans who are also probably, like you say, contrarians for contrarian sake.

Cowherd is the kind of guy I'd like to punch right in the face. BUT, you can't deny his success. Many on here say otherwise, but he is damn good at what he does. His ratings prove that. Like him or hate him, his show is always one of the highest-rated sports talk shows on air.

Since he moved to Fox, the ratings on his old time slot (that Lebatard took over) have dropped dramatically. While his new Fox show is doing great.

I listen to him. But I'd still like to punch him. You won't find anyone more full of themselves than him. But I recognize that he's very good at what he does.

I think the blue cool aide and tinted glasses prevent people from being able to fairly listen to CC...he's had some criticism for John Wall...big deal, has anyone listened to some of the criticism the BBN has for our own coaches and players as well as others...

go look at the football board right now...look at some archives of when Cal went to the NIT...all the things said about the Twins...etc...

we can go 38-1 and folks, including myself, will howl about free throws, or some adjustments cal didn't make, or maybe he didn't take a time out...etc...

some of us are still on Kyle Wiltjer like rapid dogs on raw bacon...the things that have been said about Crean, K, numerous rival players, talking heads, analysts, etc over the years...good grief...

CC has opinions, like everyone...sometimes they don't match up with ours...big deal...

what some people forget is that CC has opinions on just about everyone...and he is far harsher on a lot of other people and places than he is on John Wall...if John Wall played for any other school, especially UNC or Duke...I dare say we'd have some opinions on him...

He's actually been very complementary of Cal and how great UK basketball is...

CC does what we all do on here every day...he has opinions on things...
