There are no 2 loss teams in the top 25. This is fine.
Agree that there shouldn't be a much of an argument about being left out of the top 25. However, I do think there is reasonable debate about the "others receiving votes".
Boston College - 1 loss to Mizzou, best wins (that affected ranking)... Week 1 against Florida State, who was ranked #10 at the time. We now know that ranking was slightly off. Mich St in week 3
Oklahoma St - 2 losses... at home against #12 Utah, @ #23 K St. Nothing too bad there... Best win @ home against unranked Arkansas
Nebraska - 1 loss... at home against Illinois. Best win @ unranked Purdue
Pitt - 4-0... Best win @ home against unranked West Virginia
James Madison - 4-0... Best win @ unranked North Carolina
So, I can see an argument that UK has a stronger resume with 2 losses against #5 UGA (only by a point) and unranked USC but having a road win @ #5 Ole Miss .
The only solution is keep winning, so the Cats can continue resume building...just hate when teams get too much benefit for softer schedules. See Pitt, James Madison
