Coach Yenser Mic'd Up

Seems like he's teaching without berating. I'm willing to see what the OL does this year before making any kind of judgment. If I see same mistakes, same miscommunication, same penalties, same whiffs as last year, then I'm on board that he needs to move on. If the OL performs more like BBW in previous years, I'm happy to keep him and dismiss last year as a misfit in personnel, OC, system, etc.

But the OL has to be better this year. Only one year grace period.

And you got that from him being mic up for like 2 mins? Obviously Stoops likes him or he wouldn’t be here this year.
No it’s not from a mic’d up session they do with every coach that is irrelevant

Assuming Coen lasts more than one year this time, Coen will decide who he wants at O-Line next season. Stoops will likely defer. And, for good reason. As Cubelic said, Coen actually coaches all over the offense. He is not just a play caller.

Unlike Scan, IMO they thought Yenser was worth a 2nd chance. Showed that he was an effective recruiter as well.

All eyes are gonna be on his unit now more than ever, the disappointing UK Big Blue Wall is about the 1st thing even national analysts point at for explaining 2022 underperforming results.

Does the fact they kept Yenser after last seasons O Line stinking so bad make you think they put the blame for it on Rich S ?
It makes me think that assistant coaches aren't that super important. That there's only so much they can do. You have to eat a coordinators contract if performance isn't there. An assistant, you don't pay 350,000 for nothing. Just squeeze what you can from them.
