Coach Prime's postgame

I don’t remember Cal having himself posting on all the networks telling players they will be off the team next year. Why I said this is because the media posted everywhere about Dieon hugging a player and telling him to make his dad in prison proud. The player scored a TD but he didn’t build up the players he put off the team. Can’t have it both ways. No hate of Deion. Barstool sports bought his players at JSU. He may end up being great just tired of hearing all about him.
Again, I don't see the problem. Ultimately, you certainly are entitled to your opinion and I'm not trying to single you or anyone out, lord knows the media drives things into the ground, but you can always just not watch and turn away. I don't see why it angers people so much that he is doing well - which I guess is my ultimate point. There has to be a reason, but I digress

I am not angry at Deion loved him when he played and was on the Reds. I guess the media has drove this into the ground. If you watch sports any kinda hard not to always see a story on Deion. Hope they find a new flavor to jump on next.

I disagree. If Louisville keeps winning the media will fall in love with them. They will ignore their awful schedule and will fly up the rankings. They can easily be beaten by a top 20 SEC team tho. I almost hope they come into our game with only a loss to ND and we pound them yet again. Just like when 3 star Lamar fumbled the game away as a top 10 team.
I don't see how your post disagrees with mine.

When Saben took over at Michigan State, they hadn't had a winning season for four years. That being said I agree that Colorado will greatly improve with talent. I just don't see them being a BCS championship contender anytime soon.
Lol. Most programs do improve with talent. The reason we have finally beat Florida after 30 years of losses is the Jimmys and Joes. Not Xs and Os.

The amount of people who are upset over Sanders doing is job is astounding. That team was one of the worst teams in college football last year and he will have them in a bowl game this season, in year 1. I don't think people realize how hard that is to do. He and his staff have done a wonderful job so far, NO ONE thought they would be 3-1 after week 4 preseason. He is supposed to draw attention to his team and what they are doing, its wise to draw attention to himself because he brings star power and it helps take the pressure off the kids. We have a basketball coach that is notorious for it. Constantly having your name out there and your programs name is how you bring in recruits. I wish we would do it more and open ourselves up to homes we do not normally get into. He preaches discipline and doing it the right way, he teaches kids about how to handle the NIL and to prepare for life, not just football. What's wrong with that? Don't get upset because the media hyped them up to be better than they are, what is Deion supposed to say? "Actually we aren't that good, hopefully we will get to 6-6, please don't hype us up media?" He is taking advantage of all his available tools to build that program. Good on him I say. For the vast majority of you, all I hear is jealousy and GET OFF MY LAWN.
You don’t have to insult your opponent before every game for motivation. That’s what rubs people wrong. He picked a social media fight before each game. Spare me the drama and play football.

No he doesn’t lol

Prime's gums have been pretty quiet last week about Oregon and this week about Southern Cal. He's not dumb, he knew Oregon would decimate him on both lines of scrimmage, no need to poke the bear and piss it off more. Too bad his players especially his sons didn't understand this!!

This week Lincoln Riley & Williams can score as much as they want as often as they want. Riley likes to run it up to get his QB Heisman hype, he's done that since Oklahoma.

Disagree in part. We have better talent AND better coaching under CMS. It has taken both to make a leap. For example, Tennessee and Florida always have a ton of talent but have needed good coaching to turn that into really good teams. Time will tell if Sanders is a good coach or not.

I do not envy coaches today. You can have a talented roster and great coaches and still lose and be fired. How do you keep a kid from the projects of Miami focused on football with 10K in his pockets to go out??? I say Saban retires soon along with a lot of older coaches.

No offense, but that’s incorrect. In fact, the opposite is true and there where many stories and examples on the fact that Colorado and sanders were insulted or whatever you want to call it each week. Even if it where true, our society thrives off of social media BS so I don’t buy that as a reason for the masses either. But more so to your point … Oregon’s and Colorado state’s coach insulted Colorado multiple times before the game and even allowed it to be seen on TV…. People didnt have a problem with that? Why not? It’s motivation when Oregon’s coach or any other coach does it ? …. Doesn’t seem fair. I think people see what they want to see and the question is why but that’s probably more a societal issue than a conversation for this board so I’ll bow out. I think Sanders and Colorado are good for the university, the city and college football personally so I hope they keep doing well.

I really couldn’t care less actually how they do. I’ve never followed the west coast schools. As far as this country feeding off social media that’s an age thing. I think it’s killing the very fabric of our society. Everyone is SO ANGRY all the time because of it. I choose not to be a part of it. That’s just me.
