Coach Pope Radio Show

"The show is broadcast in Lexington on 630 WLAP, online at UKathletics.com, on UK Sports Network affiliates, on the Kentucky men’s basketball Facebook page, and through the UK Athletics app."

Just for anyone like me who hasn't listened to coach's shows in years and is a little rusty regarding access.

As much as I love Coach Pope and couldn't be happier with him, and as much as he's sooooo much better to listen to than Cal, these coaches' shows are kind of boring these days. You don't get anything out of them really that you don't get from the overabundance of media covering the team these days in real time.

Yeah, I don't have time for them. And generally the pre and post season shows are boring too. If we make the sweet 16 and on I may give them a listen.

I listened. I liked the part when a caller asked him, “Who is the one player you can’t do without?”
Ofcourse he said, he needed every single one of them and went on about how valuable Trent Noah is in practice and he was vital in preparation for the Duke game. I’m assuming he played the role of Cooper Flagg in practice. Then he talked about Walker Horn, how valuable he is and He’s the best motivational speaker on the team.
Amazing stuff, what other coach talks up players like him and makes everyone feel important? What player wouldn’t want to play for him? He’s an amazing human being
