Absolutely a much better job. But, at a quick glance, among the schools I know a little bit about, I think...
Al Golden (Miami) is at least a 4
Charlie Strong (TX) not a 3 (yet)
Jim McElwain (FL) is a 2 and has yet to coach a game? Come on; he should not be burnt just because he wasn't named Saban or Meyer

I think he hit on most, but he missed on a few, Gus has another 5 loss season, AU will be looking. Of course that might not happen but I can see 4 regular season losses. Same for Richt, we lose 5 and his will get warm. Offense is loaded except at qb 8 starters back off a team that averaged over 41 a game, but once again QB is a question, no experience except for the transfer and that is bad experience and that is his expertice.
Mcelwain should be high. Uf has sucked for a few years despite top 10 classes. He is inheriting a decent amount of talent. I don't think it matters about wins this year but he better make the O look like it's headed in the right direction. Especially if fsu puts up 30+ppg this year.
Outside the coaches that are on the verge of getting fired the rest of the list is just filler material. I seriously doubt the author could even justify why McElwain is a 2 either. Again this is another type of article that you write during the offseason when there is nothing much to talk about. I seriously doubt any real thought went into it.
Mike Leach at 1? I don't know what his buyout is, but I'm guessing Wazoo expected a little better than 12-25 after 3 seasons. I'd put Golden at 4 instead of 3. Taggart has been a disaster at USF and should be a 4 if not a 5.
