Coach Cal visited RJ Barrett today

When Cal signs Barrett and Zion, it really doesn't matter what the rest of the college basketball world does with recruiting. Barrett and Zion on the samw floor together will be the best show in college basketball. These two kids are both in the small elite group of recruits and when Cal signs both in the same class, Kentucky will be in the talks for national championship and probably considered the favorite.
Dropping in to remind RJ how he'll fit into the plan ahead of Quickley and Zion commits this weekend.

Cal is tireless and relentless. I truly believe him when he says he loves recruiting. With that said I have a friend who was an asst at EKU. He and another EKU coach drove to Pittsburg one time for a big HS camp and roomed together in an inexpensive hotel. He said Cal pulled up in a big Expedition and got let off at the door. All eyes hit him when he walked in. Had flown in on a private jet and had a driver waiting for him. Watched his 2 targets - which he got- and then got up to leave. To their surprise he saw their EKU shirts and came over to them. Gave them a couple names they might recruit and then asked them to fly home with him.
I like coach but he doesn't know on this one. I really don't think anyone does. Evan Daniels is one of the only gurus that says he has no clue.

who wouldnt look at RJs final list of schools, see the schools on it...and think they dont have a chance? He put them on there for a reason.
I am still waiting for a combo like Bernard King and Ernie Grunfield. The best two players I have ever seen on the floor on one team.

Ben Roberts seems to think Clemson will be the choice for Zion. I'm not seeing it and would be shocked if he's not in blue next year.
I would say the same if it's Duke or U.K. Some have a way of downplaying it if guys go elsewhere.
I didn't read that he thought it would be Clemson but that there's talk that they are way up there.
