Clemson is garbage

I don’t know why people are so definitive at halftime of a game.

They lost at home to Penny Hardaway and are now trailing the worst team in the SEC by double digits. They can’t sniff our jocks and were handed the game by the officials. It’s sickening to watch them look like the middling team they actually are now that their enabler (Ayers) isn’t around.

Memphis beat UConn and Michigan St, they aren't bad by any stretch. Clemson is a good team.

This board acts like any team outside the top 10 is trash for some reason.

Ol Pocket Lint is back to being Ol Penny. Memphis has finally gotten a decent team. Just took Penny dropping F bombs and years of sucking.

Unless you’re an all-time kind of team, playing on the road is hard. We had to play them on the road. They had to play at South Carolina tonight in a rivalry game at that. They probably aren’t championship contenders, but it’s too early to draw conclusions that it was a horrible loss.
Im ecstatic that we got a split out of them and Zaga.

Clemson is garbage without Roger Ayers reffing Instead of SEC crew at home, oh wait. Overtime, ha
It’s not going to matter much at all, but the better Clemson is, the better that loss looks for the Cats. Also, you seem to be a bit more emotional than rational, so I’m not TOO concerned about your opinion on how this reflects on the Cats.

We could lose to any SEC team on their home court. I can almost guarantee you that we'll lose some head scratchers.

Will we also be "garbage" when we do?

Depends. Will we also lose to Penny on our home court? How bout by double digits to a Boise State team that has losses to BC, Wash. St., and San Francisco?

This SC loss is just the latest game that shows Clemson isn’t half the team the refs LET THEM BE against us. It is by no means the only one.

Edit: I see that big Ogre from caddyshack and receding hairline neanderthal both fouled out last night. You don’t say…

UK is a tier ahead of Clemson, but I'll say this: we could get waxed by some pretty mediocre teams on their home courts, and those mediocre teams will by that point have also been waxed by teams in the BC and San Fran category. Will you create a "they're bad by association" narrative at that point for UK?

You have an interesting view with the "they stink by association" thing. There's going to be a ton of good teams that lose on the road to marginal teams this year. It won't surprise me at all if UK goes 11-7 in the SEC and we end up considering a blessing once we start to see the likes of South Carolina and Vanderbilt give teams like Tennessee and Alabama everything they can handle on the road.

I'd say South Carolina can play with anybody at home. I watched most of the Clemson - Memphis game and Memphis hit about five 3 pointers in the last 3 minutes, if the game is close throughout like it was, most of the time that will be enough to win the game.
