CLASSLESS

Maybe Brohm is trying to make a point with a weak schedule that his team deserves to be ranked. 🤷‍♂️

I didn't see the game, but sounds like something SOS would do in his UF days. But it really frustrates me when UGA gets a lead, and subs take over to finish the game. Kirby doesn't allow the subs to run our offense, we run the same play left or right grinding the clock. I understand not wanting to pile on the points, but those 2nd, 3rd and 4th string guys may become starters or move up a string or 2 because of injuries or graduation for next year. Let them run the offense they practice every day, not 1 or 2 dive plays. You don't have to go deep, or for it on 4th down, I just don't think its fair to your players who have worked just as hard as the starters in the same heat, and told to go 100% every snap, and the play caller dials it back to 10% when they get to play.

I believe every coach has a reason for what they do. It’s their choice. Personally if I was a football coach, and I had a significant lead over my opponents it,I put in the scrubs over all the starters whenever I can

It’s just not my style run up the score—but that’s just me.

It’s up to the opponent to defend, so it’s not my fault I’d be giving reps to third stringers.

I agree with both of these. I would also sub out the starters, but I agree with Grumpy that the non-starters would run the offense and defense…you don’t have to run crazy new plays, but they can still run the offense.

That’s how I feel too and while
I despise UL….it seems that the is is what they did and the 3rd-4th stringers were just still able tl execute and outplay Murray. I’m fine with that. I’m not one to tell
Kids that never see the field and need the live reps for development to “hold back”.

The sportsmanship is in pulling your starters. The scrubs deserve a chance tk go make plays too.

Nowwwwww the going for it on 4th is probably not necessary but trying to score and running your playbook is fine

Classless. You don't embarress your opponents. called sportsmanship
I really don't understand this mindset. We scored late last week to cover the spread. This game is not for weak people. Murray got paid to get their ass kicked. Take your ass whipping and go home. These are not 6th graders. They are getting paid. I say score every point you can score. I know UK and UL have very little chance of making the playoff, but margin of victory is a factor. Beat the hell out of everyone you play I say.

This. I can't bash Louisville for this when we had our starters n at the end and didn't take a knee up 23. I had no issue with that though and don't with this.

I hope we beat EKU 56 to 0 today. We are ranked like 30th n polls so style points matter if we want to be officially ranked top 25 sooner.

We didn’t score late to “cover a spread”. Coaches aren’t supposed to be influenced by an independent betting line. They’re to manage their roster and execute the game plan. Even CMS was apologetic for that last TD. It wasn’t his plan.

How did you end up with 9 QBs? That’s crazy. Is it safe to assume most of them are walk-ons?
Four on scholarship. Plummer(Sr. transfer starter), Doorman(Sr. Satt), Conley(Sr. Satt), and Clarkson(Fr). 2 Jr. and 1 So. transfer. 2 Fr. walk on.

The plan is for Clarkson to become the starter next year. The others are jockeying for backup positions.

I didn't watch the complete fourth quarter. The one time I saw them go for it on 4th down was in opposition to kicking a FG. Many fans consider kicking a FG in a blow out is running up the score. Giving the defense an opportunity to stop out on downs is sportsmanship.
