Three games and no receptions. Dawson is as disappointing a hire so far that UK has had in a while. Towles goes 8-24 passing and you can guarantee he starts the next game.
These tight ends were supposed help open the middle of the field. Where's it at? The receivers were supposed to be as good as UK has ever had. Where's it at? Towles just doesn't have it. O line got embarrassed last night. Whole offense is dud so far. Dawson better make some adjustments and changes or this season will crash real soon

We heard the coaches all off season rant and rave about Conrad's abilities. I guess they were talking his blocking
I would love to see our TEs involved in the passing game. It feels as though 90% of our passing game involves Towles chucking it 25+ yards downfield toward the sideline and hoping our receivers either get free or make a tough catch. Launching the ball downfield is fun when it works ( as in the first halves of the first two games), but at some point, we have to establish something other than a draw or 'chuck it and pray'. If we can afford to lose the blocking (which we really couldn't last night it appeared), the TE can play a big role in opening up the field for everyone else when teams respect his receiving ability.
He chucks it 25 yards downfield to a receiver who's 23 yards downfield. Constantly overthrows receivers, has all year.
Why make this comment ? Bama lost but they'll be just fine. We on the other hand have bigger problems.
