I guess I had taken a break during cena’s dominant run b/c that’s the first I’ve heard that theme punk came out to tonight. Once Sheamus/del rio/jbl were world champs I think I took a 10 year break until aj styles beat okada in japan then I started getting interested again around 2015-2016.

I think after tonight it’s clear that’s how Tiffany and Nia will be.
Nia’s best matches in her career have been with her and so far in Tiffany’s career her best matches have been with Nia.

Ya I hated it too but I guess Solo’s taken so many losses and it literally took 4 guys to beat Fatu they can’t make it look like a completely jobber stable so the title gives it a little credibility for now.
Fatu’s over the top rope flip was incredible tho.

Someone in a reddit thread said they've never seen a wrestling crowd without women and it took everything I had to not respond with "so you don't watch wrestling on Wed nights?" because that's basically an AEW crowd. Only difference is women stay away from AEW by choice.

Main takeaway from today is that stories progressed. Looks like we're getting Rollins/Punk night one in August and Cena/Cody night two. Predictable but makes sense. Jade probably gets her first singles title at SS and Naomi cashes in. Again, a little predictable but makes sense. We got Orton taking turnbuckles off and giving Cody the stink eye. That's probably Cody's feud heading into the fall. Sami inched forward and they've leaned into him never being world champion, so he's probably the Jey Uso of 2026. And Solo has added to his Bloodline which is like a sparkler compared to Roman's nuclear bomb version but this keeps him as a leader of a faction on SD. Without that, he gets no reaction.

And I've said this before but Reigns being gone this long is laughable now. Punk is attacked and returns in two weeks. Same happens with Reigns and he's gone for months. His career is winding down but in storyline, that doesn't make sense.

Realistically if you've got the clout Reigns has, you're not flying to the Middle East for a brief spot so I get it. If we get Rollins and Punk at Summerslam I don't know where Reigns fits in. Maybe him vs Reed if Bron gets Penta. Just an interesting spot for WWE since he's now getting roles and has said he's got a couple more years. They'll be fine either way but we're likely seeing WWE's biggest star since Cena having what, less than 10 matches left and that's it?
