Mania IX is the first Mania I vividly remember. As a kid, the Roman stuff was cool and it looked big time. Now it is obviously bad.

But I have a soft spot for the New Gen and any stuff from that era is welcomed by me

Jon Moxley has been reportedly planned to have a "lengthy title reign" and there was no backstage talk of a plan for Swerve Strickland to win at AEW Dynasty.

AEW has reportedly internally claimed that Moxley's title reign has caused live and DVR quarters to climb, despite the disconnect with the online audience.

I had always heard both stories and had no idea which was true. Always assumed the jet ski story was the real one. If savage popped hogan backstage someone would have squealed by now

Thought the doc was solid. Hogan was untouchable in Vince's WWF so no, I don't think Savage hit him, jeopardizing a Mania match and then was still able to be a part of the show on commentary. Hulk is a lot of things but the guy seems obsessed with that beach life. Makes sense he'd be out on a jet ski the day before he had to work a match. It's one thing to be tanned, that guy is permanently baked from the sun.

Peacock has confirmed that WrestleMania 41 will last for 18 hours - 9 hours each day on Saturday and Sunday.

- 3 hours pre show
- 4 hours main show
- 2 hours post show

The finish of Chelsea Green vs. Zelina Vega did not go down as originally envisioned, PWInsider.com can confirm.

According to several sources we spoke to in the company, the belief after the match was that Green legitimately did not hear the referee's count as it was getting to ten, so the count out was 100% legit in that the referee made it to the end of the count and calling it as if it was a shoot, had to ring the bell as they couldn't just ignore hitting the count of ten.

Yes. I’m angry about getting good matches on free tv too. Oh, wait. No sometimes, I think it is awesome to get great free matches.

I don't think Mercedes/Athena warrants a match on PPV yet. Athena, I assume, is very good but has been stuck in ROH, sorta like Jordynne Grace being stuck in TNA. I'm curious what happens to Megan Bayne though. Won a few matches, called her shot against Storm, and lost. I'll be screaming for her to be in WWE if they do the Wardlow slingshot routine with her.

Glad Triple H has the book but dude deserves some shit. Raiders vs New Day = no build, Rey vs Americano = hardly any build, Styles vs Paul = no build, Liv/Raquel vs Bayley/Lyra = no build, Knight vs Fatu = hardly any build. Still two shows to go but that's not that great.

Well it’s one thing to get free matches but if they were rumored to be opposing at all in which is AEW wrestlemania I just don’t want Athena to be fed to Sasha hogan after a 2 year roh deal in a random tournament match.

There’s always gonna good tv matches on AEW but this one feels unique and should be saved for a PPV.

The WM undercard is very underwhelming. I can only hope what comes out of WM is Brekker and Fatu making their way into the main event scene.

The only match I am excited about is the Cody and cena.
