That’s good news. They still have a huge roster that could do with some trimming. It made sense when they were first starting up and feeling their way around. Now…no reason for all those guys.

Apparently there's going to be some sort of tournament to crown a #1 contender to the US Title on Smackdown tonight.

Other than that haven't seen any other info for this evening.

What he actually said is more talent is expected to depart, not be cut. Depart could mean a combination of expiring contracts (like Leyla Hirsch whose contract expires end of this month) and/or cuts.
