I love Sami and would like for that scenario to play out. I can’t see the E letting him main event their biggest show of the year though.

Title matches don't necessarily need to headline. Not sure if Drew or Sami would care if their match happened first on night one. He's a better chaser though so if he won, I think you give him a couple months. If Vince let Kofimania happen, I can see Triple H pulling the trigger on Sami next year. WWE loves their moments.

On another message board I frequent, someone said Smackdown is now Rampage status lol

Punk would be a good fit for corporate champ because he's as corporate shill as it comes these days, has literally become everything he said he hated when he was first in WWE.

And agree on Punk. His "It's GREAT to be alive on a Monday night in (insert city)!" is cheeseball and unPunklike. That's cheap pop terrority. I'm glad he's legit happy but he'd be more interesting this year as a heel. Punk has always been a hypocrite who never backs up his talk with actions. I could go on and on about how his returning to WWE and becoming a complete corporate sellout shill - and not just in kayfabe - is the complete antithesis of everything he claims to stand for, but I'm not going to derail the thread with that. At the end of the day, he has zero integrity because he'll compromise every belief he has just to make an extra buck for himself or for the company that supports everything he claims to be against.

I wonder how many people in WWE secretly will be thrilled when Rock retires so they won't have to fear Rock showing up at any time on short notice just because he can and then derailing creative in the process?

They got to breathe a sigh of relief with getting Vince out of the company because they didn't have to deal with him constantly changing stuff on short notice all the time.

Now they have to deal with the Rock being able to show up whenever he wants with his own writer with little advance notice and he just comes in and does whatever he and his writer want to do rather it fits with what WWE had planned or not.

And it's not like when he shows up he just adjusts the creative for the TV show he is popping up on, he comes in and alters plans that are in place for the next several months.

Isn’t bandido a better version of hologram?

Regardless I haven’t seen every collision this year but I can tell it’s better than last year - they are using it to progress storylines instead of filler and random matches that don’t lead to anything.
