Not sure about the WWE Indies thing. Seems like they are trying to get every indy person who's halfway decent to have to work with them.
Sounds like the Rhea thing from last night was done to cover up another possible injury.

I mean for the last 15 or so years that’s pretty much what wwe did was raid njpw/roh etc it was an annual thing when the contracts ran out - that’s how they got priest/aj/finn/good brothers etc.
AEW's production team is so bad they ruined Bobby Lashley's big debut last night. I'm giving them one more week or I'm out on them for the long haul. It's a multi-billionaire running his playtime like a low-budget local indie franchise. The contrast in quality between what WWE puts on TV and what AEW puts out is staggering.
Funny the fan boy hadn’t come back since he was bragging about the deal but won’t own up to stuff like that.
They had been doing better production wise but last night was not a good one.
I know I'm always in the minority but overall I thought the show was very good last night. Didn't think Private Party was going to win so it's good to get got sometimes.
One thing I didn't get was Kamille and Statlander, are they breaking her and Mercedes up already? That didn't make much sense.
And Jericho of course can go away.

The show was solid, I thought.
Not a huge fan of Private Party, but they desperately needed to elevate another team to main event level as FTR, The Bucks, and The Acclaimed are all a touch stale right now. Might as well, see how they do, and you can always get eh belts off them quick if it doesn't click.
Swerve and Lashley could be good, so I want to see how that plays out.
It’s a sad existence where Maxxine Dupri has no nudes out there. That needs to change.
Not sure why Lashley is making the rounds trying to burn bridges with wwe - some of his ideas were indeed horrible.

I'm assuming either Darby, Bucks, or Cassidy "save" AEW. The choices are pretty embarrassing. Darby may be the soul there but he's small, rides a skateboard, keeps reminding us he lived in a car, and crashes through trash for fun. The Bucks have go away heat, just did their own take over which crashed and burned, they can't be serious and they're cornball. Apparently they're taking a break and could come back as faces to save us from Moxley. Yeah, that might happen. Cassidy's gimmick is barely having a personality. Even if he becomes more serious, he makes Miz look like Jesse Ventura in terms of size. The scrawny guy weighing "whatever" from "wherever" is going to be your John Cena? Well goddamn, pal...
Dynamite might do Collision numbers next year if their big angles include the above plus guys like Perry, Garcia, and ex-WWE talent that WWE was perfectly fine losing.

Writing is on the wall with the women. They're upgrading and likely bringing up two or three next year. NXT just brought in Delta, HBK will add Grace next year, Becky will be back, and Charlotte is returning soon. The women's main roster will be stacked within two years.
Corbin is entertaining in a more comedic role but he's 40 and it's clear he's just sorta stuck now, esp. after Breakker moved to the main roster. Dude probably made a lot of money though.
