I say we go chrome from head to toe. Let UF try to play defense with a bunch of disco-balls shining stadium lights into their faces.
If we bust out the all black + chrome helmets for Florida... I'm excited to see what we're saving against Auburn.
I'd be willing to bet it's something all new and maybe a hint as to what we wear next season.
The uniforms we have now are four years old I believe.
I've heard that we're breaking out an entirely new uniform for Auburn. I seen that UK had a new throwback helmet earlier this year (the color was the old UK blue). Being that Auburn plays in the same style uniforms that they've played in for many years, Kentucky may play in throwback uniforms for that game as well.
That said, I wouldn't be hurt if UK broke out a more Oregon'esque uniform. Wouldn't be hurt if they did it against Florida. I've read that chrome will be a featured part of it this Saturday.
My chrome pullover is still at the cleaners.

That's my understanding as well. A new uniform for our first ever Thursday night game, which just happens to be against Auburn. A top 20 team, one of the Westerns Divisions powerhouse teams and UK looking the part of a true SEC team. Makes for good television.
For the Florida game, I'm guessing UK will be going back to Black uniforms and chrome helmets. Much like the SC game, last year.

A matted white helmet would be pretty cool but so would anything matted. I'd be all for a matted black helmet with a blue chrome grill, black top and bottom with he accent pieces being white and blue checkerboard shoulder pads. With black blue white and chrome and the different regular, chrome, and matted finishes, there's almost an endless number of options. Don't want it permanet but I do love these once a year, get hyped scenarios because you know the players get into it. Case in point, USCjr last year
I think we should do neon colored rainbows with turquoise wildcats wearing ak 47's while smoking dope. How sweet would that be? Sorry guys I think while wearing alternates from time to time is OK, they should be tastefully done and coincide with our school colors. I'm wearing the UK gear I spent my hard earned money on to the game and there is no way I'm going to buy a chrome shirt, not sure what type of transvestite store you would have to shop at to buy one of those anyway. I enjoy watching football, I don't worship these kids.

blasphemer!!! the power K should not be spoken of that way. by no means am i ederly. but, i do like the power K. chrome is pretty nice, loved the look vs miss st. last year. really like all the uniform combos now.
I personally think our regular unis are not good. The UK logo is iconic like Yankee logo or Nike swoosh. But it's iconic for basketball only. I would get rid of the uk logo on the helmet and replace it with the state outline on one side and the player number on the other . Lose the checkerboard we are the Wildcats not the thoroughbreds .
I look forward to alternate unis so we don't have to wear regs but please reduce the chrome .

I'm passionate about the unis . I care about the way we look bc if you feel good about your appearance you have added confidence which doesn't hurt.
If we lose recruits over the uniform design, so be it. You can't get any shallower. You'd think staff capabilites would count for something.
