I don’t make millions of dollars for a living, nor am I in a job where anyone would really care that much. It’s not the nature of my job. But, it is the nature of a professional athlete’s job and they all know it going in. If I were making millions, my level of care about fan criticism would be squarely at zero. Players know what they need to work on, why would you even bother allowing what fans say affect you at all? If you really feel this way, then you need to fight same fight for NBA players too.

Well, if you actually wanted to see the best most competitive product on the court, it's probably not a bad idea. But players now feel they are entitled to loads of money up front before they've ever proven anything.
