Chris Fisher changed his pick to UK for Bolden

Bolden to UK, Giles to Duke, and Adebayo to NCSU.

I think that is how it turns out.

And I am good with that. I think Duke fans would be fine with that as well.

I would be A-OK with that. I'm sure Wolfpack fans would as well. They just don't want to concede Rawle Alkins to you guys yet.

I get the feeling he's a backup to Monk. From what I understand, Cal wants Monk more than any other kid in this class and he wouldn't take a commitment from Alkins if he thinks Monk would go elsewhere.

I do not believe UK can land both Bolden and Giles. I thought they may pull it off, then I got to thinking.... if Giles picks Duke (and I think he will) there's no chance he plays anything other than C. Coach K has never proven to play someone his size at anything other than C. Shit... Cal played someone his size (and similar skills set) at SF last year.

I guess you never saw Ryan Kelly play then...he was 6'11'' and played PF. I can promise you that Giles will play PF, Duke will enough depth at the C position with Jeter and Obi.[/QUOTE]

Not that it means anything, but I typically get notifications from twitter when multiple people I follow, follow someone new.

It just popped up that Jonathon Givony andddddddd John Wall followed Bolden. Perhaps he's about to slide into some DMs?

Gotta be a good sign if both AD and John Wall are hitting this kid up.

That one seems down to you guys and Arkansas. If more national exposure and more winning is important to him, he'll pick Kentucky. If he's more like Malik Newman and would rather run his own show and stay close to home (although I don't know if he has a family connection to Arkansas like Newman had w/Mississippi State), I'd expect the pick to be Arkansas. I don't know him personally, so I can't say if he's more Newman or more Ulis/Murray/Briscoe. Makes it hard for me to know which way he's leaning towards ATM.

Oh he's got family connections. His brother played at Arkansas. His brother has also been adamant though, that Malik is his own person and will make his own decision. I don't know the kid personally either so I really don't know any more than anyone else. But after the "issues" that Arkansas has had lately, that can't be helping their cause.

Good for his brother. Got a lot of respect for that way of looking at it. I'd much rather see his family support him and his decision (whatever it ends up being) instead of trying to pressure him to get him to pick a school that might be number two on his list rather than number one.

In a year so thin on big men, going to battle with Lee, Wynyard, Humphries, SKJ and Bolden would be unreal, especially with the nation's best perimeter to supplement them.

People forget sometimes that when his head was on straight, he was a hell of a player.
I remember him as a bad ass. If we needed a backet he got it. The problem with him was attitude. If he was not feeling good that day, he played like it.

Would be very surprised if it does not turn out that way

There a couple of you guys that appear to have lots of knowledge from NC regarding the connection between Bam and NCstate.
I think it goes without saying that Cal will roll out the red carpet for Bam this weekend, and do everything he can to WOW him.
I guess my question is if Bam and all his "people" have known it will be NCstate for awhile now, why even take this visit to potentially confuse things. You would have to think going in that the last school to visit if you don't want to derail the path to NC state, it would be UK.

Leave NC State outta this
