I can say this, and I like Jerry Meyer and think he's a great analyzer of talent, but he's not making any friends with recruits, parents, or people in the know of the situation.
He's suggested that Newman, Brown and Diallo could head overseas. Could they? I guess. But in order for two or three of them to go overseas, it would have to be a grades thing.
Source close to Diallo told me that there's no way Diallo will play overseas. Hasn't even been considered.
Also told me that Slice leaving to St. John's doesn't hurt UK, or help St. John's. Diallo has been very careful to look into the schools. "He'll pick the best fit. He won't follow coaches."
Still don't think UK leads for Diallo, but the Cats do have a better chance of landing Diallo than him going overseas.
