I know there was some concern from a few posters that Chandler may want to move back to Utah with his now Fiance.
But according to this post she will be joining him at UK.

I agree. When I saw him play vs. our early SEC opponents, I was skeptical.Excellent. Chandler is the most improved player on the team imo.
2nd year in this offense will take it up a level, and allow Pope to work on defense more!Nice pickup he should be a STUD next year and big time contributor
That is interesting because I believe BYU doesn’t get scheduled on Sundays. Will Pope coach on Sunday?BTW, did you see in the Lex H-L that there is a possibility that he will not play on Sunday due to Mormon obligations?
I did not know about such things.
Anyhow, he said he was playing.
I would think if Steve Young, great great grandson of Brigham Young, could play in the NFL for over 10 years, surely is ok to play one game on Sunday.BTW, did you see in the Lex H-L that there is a possibility that he will not play on Sunday due to Mormon obligations?

It probably all depends on the time of the game. If they can attend services then it will be ok. My son is very devout so he doesn't play when he has to miss church. That is interesting because I believe BYU doesn’t get scheduled on Sundays. Will Pope coach on Sunday?
If only they gave us that information in the post….I assume his soon to be wife will move to lexington then?
Chandler was always talented enough to play for Kentucky. He was inevitably going to be REALLY rusty after taking two years off though. It kinda cracks me up that people wrote him off after a few games early this year. That’s part of the reason I cringe when people complained about our 3 freshmen this year saying they weren’t talented enough to play here. They were never supposed to be forced into those roles this early but we had no choice. It’s easy to say you want your8-12 players to score 15 a game but it’s not realistic in this day and age to have really good players sitting at the end of the bench… In two years guess what we will have some down there because they WANT to be here and were given time to develop. No some may not play 25 mpg but having guys that are a + for 10-15 mpg is very valuable with injuries and the SEC grind.
Missions? Please no more, he’s already served 2 years!Getting Chandler back was one of the biggest missions for the staff this Spring.
The kid is going to be a critical piece over the next few seasons. This is huge news.
He’s going to fight to start. I know everyone has JJ penciled in, and they might be right. But I expect CC to earn starter level minutes. If he can’t, we are probably really really good. That may be our backup SF/SG for 2026 providing defense, athleticism and his improving stroke has him as 3pt threat as well.
I think he competes for Noah's minutes as the depth at SF.
