Since we don't have any incoming freshman backs signed, what is the chances he comes back from the portal? He hasn't committed to any other program yet, he would be a good backup and get some playing time.

I get that he's not a #1 SEC caliber back, but he has over 1,500 career yards as mostly a backup. He's got enough talent to be a good situational back for us.
For sure but as the line play has gotten worse it seems so has he. I agree he would be good for depth but he’s not happy being the third on the chart.

We still may sign a RB in this class which would put us at 4-5 deep at that position w/o Smoke.

He seemed to run directly into the defense player instead of hitting at an angle might do good at Troy where they don't play against SEC size defensive players as often so he could run over the defense

He did get most of those yards behind a very good OL. Smoke is just not very good.

I'm sure he's targeting troy. He needs somewhere with a gap scheme and not sure what troy runs.

Unfortunately young man isn't going to have many takers.

I don’t think he comes back and unfortunately I don’t think he has found a new place for himself.

Honest question and if its already been addressed my bad. Why cant Ramon Jefferson come back for another year? He literally had 2 carries and out for the season. Would he not provide quality depth at RB?

I hope he goes to Troy and rushes for 1k+, but if he asked to come back and would accept whatever role the coaches need him for, then I'd take him back.

Smoke began asserting himself offensively 3rd and 4th quarters of UF game. I believe he rushed for 50+ yards during second half, including 3 or 4 runs greater than 10 yards each. I'll miss him.

We certainly could have used him for the bowl game. Would have given him another to show other programs what he could do.

Agree with other posters that it’s best he move on for next season. Thanks and best wishes.
