I saw people saying he isn't a need. He is a need. And the biggest reason he is a need is, Duke. If he ain't here he's there. Therefore, he is a need. Bam is not a rim protector, Bamba is.

I don't have a gut feeling either way about Knox and Bamba. I think we stand as good a chance as the other teams of getting Knox. I like the fact that Knox and PJ's parents are good friends. I think Bamba knows where he is going and for whatever reason is just waiting to see who leaves UK for the NBA. Once that is known I think Bamba announces. I love UK so I think both come to UK. Time will tell.

2-20 year spans
next would mean
3-30 year spans, so the sequence would actually be 2028, 2058, 2088
Pretty obvious Duke is making room for Knox or Bamba, or both. Jeter gone, Tatum gone, Giles gone, Obi gone.

Knox is not coming to UK, it's just not going to happen.
Bamba is a toss up, but you can see Duke is going to go all in on getting Bamba and Knox. They are desperate now, the positions are open there and Coach K rarely misses when he goes after guys as hard as he is going after those two.
I hope like crazy Bamba pulls the trigger and comes to UK, he's a difference maker and it would mean Duke isn't getting him.

Bam may stay, Briscoe may stay, WG may stay, Fox and Monk gone, Bamba and Knox going to UK, Duke screwed. Where will they go only their hair dresser knows. I say Bam and I say maybe Knox or maybe not. I'm confused.
How in the world can your college choice come down to Duke or Kentucky? Does any and all fanhood go out the window when these kids decide?
I have NEVER met a single person that was a fan of Duke and Kentucky, yet it seems like half of the top 10 players every year are exactly that.
Of course I realize it is more of a business decision for the top 10 than who you are a fan of, but surely these kids follow the sport enough to be more of a fan of one or the other.
It just baffles me how anybody could narrow things down to Duke or Kentucky when throughout the country I'd imagine that there are less than 100 people who are fans of both of those 2 particular teams.

But not both. Bolden is still there. Carter, Bamba, Knox, Bolden up front with 3 returning guards plus 2 new ones. That's 9 guys and K likes a short rotation.

2. Players are not a fan. They are trying to make living playing basketball. They don't give a shit about their fandom to pick a university. They pick it so they can succeed and make millions of dollars.
