cats favored over u6

That surprises me.

I don't think we'll lose, but at the same time what makes them so sure we'll win?

If we have anything in us at all, we will win that. No clue what to expect

We could win. We could lose. We can barely win or win big. I don’t think our defense would let us lose big. Really need to stomp some ass and I think they know that

“Louisville vs. Kentucky opening odds from Circa Sports

Spread: Kentucky -3.5
Total: 44”

Looked it up!

That opening number/line of UK-4 quickly "fell" to a -3.5 actual betting line. Very little difference which shows the "line makers" and the opening "bettors" were pretty much in step. FWIW, Sagarin rankings (adjusted for home field and play to date) show UofL to be a 1.77 point "favorite". I'm not familiar with the Massey Rankings and I can't figure out a "projected game spread" however the Massey Rankings have UofL ranked #23 and UK #44...whatever that means.

Play from a banged up QB may be what decides this one. 🤔

Peace

If we show up at all, we win handily. We can't just expect to show up and have them lay down, like we expected for vandy and SC.

If we give them something early, we're in for a fight. If we get up on them early they will give up. I don't think anyone on their squad experienced anything vs UK that wasn't complete and total domination

Its really this simple. It all comes down to whether Scangarello has finally figured out a plan to counter pressure defense or not after 11 games. UL went the same route with their defensive transformation that UT did with their offense and thats just balls to the walls aggressiveness. They lead the country in blitzes and that aggressive style has elevated their talent as well by creating energy on that side of the ball.

They are getting 100% out of 3 stars which is better than getting 85% out of 4 stars with their style and its worked for them.

Every team that brought pressue this year gave us fits and that included the mid level teams. Georgia was one of the few that didnt use much pressure and til later in the game and I think that helped us. By now Scan and Will should have gotten much better at dealing with pressure with how they attack it. I hope they finally learned something from getting the ball out to play makers one on one REGARDLESS of whether they are open or not. You dont have to be running 2 yards free to make plays. Slants, quick stop routes, back shoulder throws, and deep go routes to first options will work. We do that and we should handle UL easily

DraftKings has UK (-3.5) and the Moneyline is UK (-185) & Louisville (+140). Moneyline = who do you think will win the game. That means you'd have to wage $185 to win $100 if you bet on UK. If you bet on Louisville to win, it'll cost you $100 to win $140.

If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn't be more surprised than I am now by that spread.
You might be more surprised, but you’d be far more pissed off.

Their fans are sure running those little red beaks over there on their message boards, never seen such a fan base that thinks they are a football power, so arrogant. That's why the rest of the state always pulls for the county schools against any Louisville teams in the state tournaments and always have.
