If Kentucky can take care of the "cupcakes" the next two weeks, hopefully some top ten teams go down. UK can go up even more.
5 game stretch. 2 straight games for the offense to find some cohesiveness and chemistry

With the release of the latest AP college football poll, here's what is up next for each team in the new rankings.
Shocking. Love it. but not sure if we are legitimately a Top 10 team right now. Wow.

Good to be a UK fan today….
We went to the Volleyball game yesterday also and UK won their game.
Pretty good turn out there also. Will be glad to see a renovation to that place coming next year.

This puts us in a good spot, because the next two games are very winnable, meaning it's likely that the Cats roll into October 4-0 and top 10.

Uk is in a place where if they go 11 and 1 they are a lock for new years 6 and who knows what else. Long way from there and the only poll that matters doesn't come out for weeks but still nice to see.
Agree with that. I don't know how you watch Bama vs. Texas and keep them (Bama) #1.
Very possible Gameday will be in Oxford for the Ole Miss game. Both teams should be 4-0. Although that same week we'd be competing with the Alabama/Arkansas game and NC State/Clemson for the weekly host sites.
Well, at least it won't be like 2007 where we got this high and then fell off a cliff.
To be sure, probably would need to be ranked in Top 5.

Agreed. I would have had us somewhere between 12–15 but I’ll take it. Ole Miss will be a battle but if we can beat them we have a great chance of being undefeated going into to the Tennessee game.
Agree. But, we haven't fielded our best RB yet. If we do when we travel to Oxford, and we bring home a convincing W and 5-0 record, then for sure. Road wins in Gainesville and Oxford coupled with non-conference wins against 2 G5 teams predicted to play one another for their conference title? Sure. Top 10 confirmed at that point. Kind of generous at this point. I'm at we take Florida's 12 spot right now.
Q is Ole Miss the most important game of Stoops career talk. It’s coming. And he just keeps on eating it and rolling. I love it.
Same. It's exciting, but probably a little high.
If Florida was really #12 best team in the country going into the that game, college football is really down.
Well deserved imo. Stoops is a determined gritty coach. His team loves him. Still can't get over two wins in the Swamp.

Ole Miss coach said UK was a bunch of soft hillbilly rednecks. Since gonzo journalism was invented by Hunter Thompson which is just make up a story to suit yourself, it must be true. Haha
I was looking at the poll tracker site (fun site if you’ve never checked it out) that shows how every pollster voted. Outside of the top 6 teams, we had the smallest gap between highest vote (6th by 4 voters) and lowest vote (17th by 1 voter).

I get why people think 9 is too high, but when you look at the landscape, road wins are extremely tough to get, especially against ranked teams.
UK was missing, arguably, it's most important player, he's at least UK's best running back by a mile. That’s a pretty important position.
UF had just beaten Utah, who is legit. Put up over 70 points yesterday.
The swamp was jacked up and it was a featured night game.
Look at what happened to Bama at unranked Texas. That was a noon game (11am local time)
UK didn’t just win… ..short handed, they beat UF handily… . again, while missing C-Rod.
Who else has a better win? Heck, ND lost at home to Marshall, aTm lost at home to app state.
If UK is 12-15th as some of you say, who are the 11-14 teams that should be ranked ahead? It seems like you guys are just saying that because it's UK football and it just doesn't feel right for UK to be that high, but this is a legit top 10 team right now at this point in the season.
It’s up to Stoops and the team from here on out. If they want to have a special season, they'll use last nights game as momentum and build off of it.
