They have the one thing that gives us fit's....A dline that causes havoc!!! They will get pressure on our qb with there front 4 similar to Florida... Besides that we are better at most positions....
We will find out a lot about Dawson and towles...

Yes, let's see if adjustments on offense are made to prevent a similar disaster as last weekend. Surely they will be.
The only reason why they are even in the top 25 is because they are undefeated and in the sec. Missouri is not that good. They have struggled all year. But Missouri always plays good against us, so yes I am worried. Florida is a better defensive team imo. We'll see Saturday.
Funny thing, every year I hear people say "Mizzou is not that good".
They're good enough for the East but when you line up against Bama, you see what happens. They're not 'unbeatable'.
They are vulnerable this year and I don't believe their dline is anywhere near as good as people are saying. They are not Florida.

As usual the 2 time defending SEC east champs are given little respect or appreciation. Hopefully the team & coaches have the proper attentions towards the Tigers.
Strangely, I feel much better going into the Missouri game than I did the Florida game. Missouri deserves respect but I think we matchup much better this weekend.
Missouri is good, no doubt. But, I just think we're better... if the offense can play like the defense has and they've shown they are capable of it. I believe the Cats will get things going offensively. They're are just too many playmakers not to.
On a positive, if we only manage 9 points again, at least we will have a shot in overtime.
In 2012, they were right. In 2013 and 2014, they were wrong. It's hard to say at this point whether they are right or not. In any event, they're not 0-3, like some other team I could mention.

I'm watching this weekend to see how our Off coordinator calls this game. I missed game one due to vacation. Watched the first half of game two with a big smile on my face but since then, I have seen nothing but garbage play calling and managing of the offense. You cannot get to this level and be that darn incompetent at your job.
I see the pattern and it drives me crazy. Florida almost loses to two bad teams (we are one) and they have great talent. Missouri isn't as good because they haven't beaten us yet. But if they do, they will be the best team ever and we are overmatched. This is the point of my "No more excuses" thread. Florida didn't look better than ECU, why did they look better than us? Missouri has won the East 2 years in a row, why aren't they good? Because in most KY fans minds, we are better until you hand us our ass like Florida did. And before anyone says it was close, I agree, it was close and we should have won. But we did not execute with talented players. if you are talented and continue to lose, you are getting your ass handed to you. We had open receivers and could not score a touchdown. I'm tired of the excuses that the are better than us. Beat them. No more excuses.
I don't understand this line because Missouri's defensive front and linebackers are gonna make Florida's look like walk-ons. Only way we score is if the offensive line shows up and plays above what I think they're capable of at this point
Missouri does NOT have a better defense. They are better coached, but they dont have the talent level of Florida. Florida has the better secondary, and d-line...Mizzou wins the LB position.
We will score, you act as though we have some kind of horrifying offense. No, we had a horrifying game, this team showed that when they get going offensively they are scary. Theres a piece missing to the puzzle right now but when that is fixed, watchout. Vegas didnt make us the favorite by predicting us not to score. Mizzou has a helluva defense. but nothing like you all act. Look at their SOS as of yet. they arent going to maintain that holding offenses to 9.3 points per game stat.

You realize Missouri has the 4th best defense overall in the country right? If our offensive line plays like they did against Florida it will be the same result
Missouri has the 4th best defense in the country because they played #71, #120, and D-1 AA teams. Give me a break.... USC held Arkansas State to 6 points(Missouri allowed 20), yet allowed Stanford to score 41....D-1 AA Villanova held UConn to 20 points....Foreman held SE Missouri State to 14...GIVE ME A BREAK WITH THAT BS.

They were without their two best DB's when they played a pass specialty team, and that team put up pretty good numbers on them. That surprises you? Apparently it should since you come up with ignorant statements like "if you are talented and lose, you are getting your ass handed to you". That is beyond ignorant, it is stupid. Do you realize UF has one of the best defenses in the country, particularly so when they are at full strength. Do you really think we have as much talent as UF? Really? Because if you do, again, you don't know much about football and if you don't then you have already contradicted the central theme of your nonsensical post. Now let's take Missouri. Whether or not they won the east the last two years is irrelevant. Those two teams aren't playing this year. If you care to notice, 2013 was their strong year. They weren't particularly good last year, they were more lucky. Do you really believe they were better than UGA? They didn't look very impressive against us and we were a mess at times last year. They have no playmakers other than Mauk. Their offense is terrible and that is against bottom of the barrel teams, not UF. Could we lose to Missouri, sure, but that would be catastrophic to this season. We are simply better than they are, but yes, we do have to prove it. Given that UK is the home team, and home teams usually get 3 points, I think this is Vegas saying the two teams are even.
I believe that we match up more favorably with Missouri than Florida because Florida still has great team speed.

I don't bet sports but I would HAMMER Missouri at +3. That way I'm happy with either outcome (and if we kick a game winning FG at the end I can be doubly happy).

You asked me to think about that, and I did, and concluded that Western does not "own" us. If they "own" us, after winning two consecutive games against us, then we "own" South Carolina, and I would never be so bold as to say that.
WKU doesn't own UK just because they beat a couple teams full of Joker's players. UK owns Louisville in basketball, and perhaps in football soon. I don't think anyone is saying Missouri isn't that good. People are saying UK can beat them which is possible.
