The whole ending couldn't have been better. Louisville throws two bombs instead of running out the clock to end regulation. Then they pull a typical Louisville move of cheap shots out of bounds to get an unsportsmanlike penalty then they jump offsides.

Yeah. 20 yards of penalties in the last second of the game moved Stanford from a 72 yard field goal (really, a Hail Mary) to a 52 yard field goal.

A bizzare meltdown.

It has some Card faithful questioning whether their players had a money line bet favoring Stanford.

Being a Kentucky fan, I have seen some amazing losses but that one would be up there with any gut punch we have ever taken.

Was a total dumbass move for Brohm to go for it on fourth and 11 - should have punted and taken his chances in overtime with much the better team.

Then back to back to back penalties gave Stanford the only chance they had.
