Can we get Saban?

Dude is living his best life cackling at Pat Mac on Game Day.

Is it impossible, no. However, several things would have to be done in and around the program that I'm not sure folks are interested in doing.

First, Nick Saban ain't second fiddle, nor is football in his mind. Football first. No ifs, ands, buts, or basketballs about it.

Second, he has zero interest in fiddle farting around with the new age dip shittery. An offer of being coach and only coach would have to be on the table. Meaning, setting up a front office and bringing in GM/assistant gm type personnel.

Third, somebody would have to find some money to spend. Again, not Nick Saban, he's above that. Someone gon have to get some dollar bills to get talent here.

So you’re saying better chance of getting saban to auburn?

Seriously though. The allure of the uk job to a guy like saban would likely be based on trying to take a “basketball school” that’s never won a title to a title. That’s the only motivator at this point for anything close to saban.

Saban wouldn't be second fiddle if he came here.
If we can't get good coaches EVER because of basketball, I'd look for ways to get our basketball program shut down.

The second fiddle theory is BS.

If you make football a winner. The rest is gravy.

I have heard from a real estate agent friend that Saban's wife is looking at horse farms in the area.
