Can somebody give the short version of MJ's periscope?

I agree with him on UL.

I have some friends on the faculty there. They are outraged.

I'm not sure that they (the faculty as a whole) have the guts to take on the UL Sports Machine in a public forum, but they are raising hell behind the scenes. Plus, the rumor they are hearing is that there is evidence that their internal investigation uncovered that makes the school look even worse.

No idea if it is true or not, but they seemed to think the rumors were credible.

You can tell it's bad that no one in that program is outright saying there is no way it's true. They are all acting like "I can't believe Andre would do this", totally isolating him and removing themselves from any involvement. Only their idiotic fan base is pointing to this as lies and slander

Remember these allegations have been out there since August, they've had time to do investigations internally, pull video from dorms and talk to people around the program.

To the camp that don't think recording periscopes is possible.

It's not hard to record what's on your screen. No one had done this due to what I believe will cause MJ to quit having periscopes.

Yeah, I think that's right. Everything about Pitino right now screams damage control. It's clear that everything he says is laying the foundation for him to be retained once the truth outs so that he can be the one to "clean up the mess and make it right". He even invoked UK, as is his custom - he said something like, I'll clean this up just like I cleaned UK up when I got there.

Of course, he's leaving out the most important part. At UK he was cleaning up someone else's mess, and here he'd be cleaning up something that happened on his watch....

Yeah i'm admittedly too lazy on a weekend to actually look up what the NCAA rule book specifically cites to as "lack of institutional control" but if this isn't a lack of oversight by an Athletic department I'm not sure sure what is! (IF it's proven that Pitino and Jurich did not know what was going on)

That's wonderful. Not what I was saying though. On the app there is no way to record someone else's broadcast. It's how it was designed.

If you don't come in first for a recruit, it doesn't really matter. When you finish in second place, why does it even matter? For bragging rights on a message board? That doesn't do much for me. I have noticed some fans do make a huge deal about who comes in second place or third. I never understood that mindset.
