Said not worry about Skal and told Tipton to suck it.
We are 100% getting fox and have a great chance with either bam or bolden. And don't count us out with Giles.
Spot on about Fox. Cautiously optimistic about Giles but threw in a qualifier. Still thinks he ends up at duke. Said UL is in a lot of trouble, not just a little. Look for fox next week along with word on Skal.
I can't imagine Bolden is a possibility after cancelling BBM visit two nights before, but what do I know?

UK interviewed Butch and he had so many demands that it was a turn off. They instantly decided against hiring him.
Told past of the Harrow story. He quit the team early on, joined back, then after another game there was a huge altercation in the locker room, and he was eventually told to leave. Mentally weak like we already knew.

Keep in mind that he already had official visit, so this one would be on his dime. Wouldn't put much stock into the cancellation. May only signify that he's made up his mind.

I have some friends on the faculty there. They are outraged.
I'm not sure that they (the faculty as a whole) have the guts to take on the UL Sports Machine in a public forum, but they are raising hell behind the scenes. Plus, the rumor they are hearing is that there is evidence that their internal investigation uncovered that makes the school look even worse.
No idea if it is true or not, but they seemed to think the rumors were credible.

Fox is the key. It's becoming clear Cal has likely sold Fox on coming with or without Ulis returning.
I'm pretty excited about Fox if he ends up coming. He's likely a better lead guard than Teague and unlike Andrew, actually possesses an elite skill set with his speed and vision. Andrew overpowered opponents in high school and to some extent in the college, but his game doesn't translate well in the league because he doesn't do anything on an elite level. Fox, on the other hand, could be a few steps closer to the Knight/Bledsoe/Evans tier due to his control, speed, and elite passing.

It's an app that let's you stream live video and other people can join the broadcast and watch it. It's a trend right now also seen in video gaming. A site called twitch lets you watch people play online games, often where the player is commentating as well.

You're not alone Rockfly. My teenage kids make fun of my "social media" phobia. I'm a dude that is private and takes privacy rights seriously. Thus, I don't want any part of being on social media; nor, do I really have an interest with following anyone on social media-- that's just me.
This message board is the extent of my social media interaction and I rarely post, just lurk and read. I rely upon my wife to keep me updated about friends on Facebook, and my kids to keep me updated about UK sports via Twitter.
Do you guys really think there is a chance Giles ? That would really be something if we could get him.
The hammer is coming to UNC. He will not go there if he want's to play on tv and NCAA tourney.
You'd be amazed at the amount of time you're saving for more productive purposes. Once you go down the social media path, it's hard to ever get those lost minutes back. LOL!

It is like a radio call in show. People ask questions and he answers some of them. So it isn't necessarily planned out with everything he is going to share. I assume he has a few topics he is going to talk about, but a lot of it is answering questions. At least that is what it seemed like for the little bit I tried it for one day. Plus if he gives out to much info at once, it might keep people from coming to his site in the near future. Probably have to ration out the info.
Loved what he said about Skal. Said that he was contacted and told that what he's saying is the truth. Meaning that the staff isn't concerned and neither is he. That along with what Calipari said yesterday leads me to believe that Skal will play this year from the get.
He also deletes the stream right after. Always seems to have a good story or two and some valuable info that he wouldn't have the fortitude to post on Twitter/ksr. Pretty cool idea.
Come on. Of course there is a chance. He will attend BBM, and Calipari has been recruiting him hard for years. Nobody thought Labissiere or Murray were coming to Kentucky. Maybe we get him, or maybe we don't. But I don't understand the people who think he is a mortal lock for Duke.
Maybe it's because his best friend has committed to Duke, or that he is from North Carolina, or that coach K had been to his last two(?) birthday parties invited, or the whole Coach K USA basketball connection
I want Bam over Bolden. I prefer to have a couple mature looking players on the team. Bam looks like he is 30 years old. Its good to have couple older looking players on ya team who are not old lol

He's might try to pull off the Uncle Roy relationship with MJ, but there's way too much on the internet to avoid the issue. I don't hear any major player stating that UNC is just dealing with a distraction.
Aside from the Harrisons, has Cal really had someone come in and under performed for a slot at the next level? I think that ought to sell Giles immediately. The majority of Cal's recruits have performed as expected.
I guess you could if you really wanted to. You could just get another phone or video recorder and record the stream 2nd hand/bootleg style.
Poythress is right up there with Andrew Harrison as a top 10 recruit in his class who will likely go second Round. I hate it too because he is such a great kid graduated in 3 years working on his Masters right now and everybody likes him as a person. But for some reason he refuses to improve his ball handling and it drives me CRAZY!!! I don't expect him to be Pistol Pete just please be able to dribble more than twice without traveling.

No, you can record it to pretty much any app or device. Straight digital. Google it. Easy.
