Can Clappy pull one out ?

Other than Alabama on the road who have they beaten on the road? Syracuse?
Yeah, when you look at their schedule, you see 1 tough road game and honestly, Alabama is unranked, so they’ve been hiding.

Their overall SOS is better than ours, but that's because thrir cupcakes were ranked in the 100's, our were in the 300's.

We'll see what happens in the SECT.

They also have to go to Gainesville and Starkville too so we will see. I believe both of the those teams are better than Missouri and Georgia who they struggled to beat on the road.
Auburn has some athleticism and they play like their hair is on fire, but I don't think they use they're as good as they should be. Lots of smoke and mirrors.

It could be that they're trying to play too many guys.

Anyone with an efficient offense with a decent defense and rebounding, has an excellent chance to beat them.

Like I said earlier though, they are damn near unbeatable at home, they really feed off their home crowd.

Auburn is a lucky team, barely beating the two worst teams in the SEC. They will lose and 2 or 3 games at least, Georgia would have won if they could hit their free throws. Auburn's day is coming you can't keep winning like that.
They will get massacred at Arky.

Yeah, that was an obvious charge. Auburn guy was out of control and went through the chest of the defender. And he was clearly outside the restricted area. That call gets made 99% of the time.
Refs decided they didn’t want to decide the game.
They must have made that partular decision after that awful foul call 45' from the basket. AU got 2 free throws out of that.

I think Auburn's pretty legit. Top 3 draft pick, couple good guards and the best shot blocker in the country. Kessler's a lot better than I thought he'd be.

They play down to their competition like a lot of teams do. They beat Missouri and Georgia by a combined 3 points. I think they feed off Pearl's enthusiasm, so when he's running around before the game shirtless, screaming, begging for fans to be crazy, with veins protruding from his neck like he's on PCP you can expect them to play well.

It'll be interesting to see them matched up in the tourney on a neutral court against a physical team that slows the pace.

Their guard play is not elite. This will be their achilles heel in the tourney.

Pearl made a defensive switch last 2 possessions to zone that won the game
Wish Cal would do that on occasion

Pearl also failed to draw up plays for their best player Jabari Snith the entire game. Had he done that, they wouldn’t have been in that position towards the end.
